FEELING AMAZING! 10 days post op

i’m feeling sooo much better guys! the first 5 days are the toughest! i stopped pain meds a week post op, haven’t been taking anything anymore. i can bend down now and i am already sitting with a pillow (not sure if i’m supposed to tbh). i’ve also been driving for the past 4 days. i was reading some girls recoveries that couldn’t drive for a month... maybe it was my amazing doctor, or maybe i just heal well? no idea but i’m happy i’m past the tough phase! i am still sleeping on my stomach tho! and will continue to do so until i feel my body is completely healed

1 week post op

oh... my.. god... this has been an experience for sure, lol! first 3 days - hell, after that it’s bearable, now i’m starting to get more mobile again, walking around more, took a long shower. i’ve been drinking protein shakes every day to help feed my muscles for repair. this is not an in-and-out procedure. i would say you need someone to take care of you at least 4 days 24/7, after that you can manage on your own if you don’t have kids. took off work for a minimum of 2 weeks, depending on how you heal, maybe 3. i’ve been resting a lot and taking it very slow. i’m guessing in another week i will be back to semi-normal, just less mobile. i’m absolutely in love with my results! to me personally, the pain was worth it! the aftercare at psi california is amazing too! you just feel like part of their family! i have another post op appointment tomorrow. i’ll attach a picture, finally took my big bandages off (i don’t know if i was allowed too).

buttimplants gave me hips !!

still struggling with my recovery. if you have a low pain tolerance, this surgery probably isn’t for you. did want to update, i told you guys i had my surgeon put the implants in the outside edges of my butt, to give me hips and omg! my plan worked! it looks really good.
i am walking a little better now, pain is getting a little more tolerable, but still pretty bad.
i’ll put a side by side of my hips, so you can see what the implants did for me. i’m really happy with the placement of the implants! never seen a surgeon get these types of hips with only buttock implants. i’m really happy i went with doctor hakeem and didn’t pay extra for hip implants somewhere else.
