Thankful - he is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor

I had some booty implants removed by Dr. Nykiel. Had these implants for about 20 years and they were starting to bother my sciatica, and felt discomfort sitting.
At 51 years of age I was more than ready to have them taken out as I did not want to have these procedure done in my late 50s!! His front and back office staff treated me so kindly. I came out of anesthesia feeling very thankful, drowsy, and with no pain!! The hardest part I had to go through was getting myself off the operating table and onto the wheel chair although the nurses helped me I broke down in tears from the extreme drowsiness and weakness and having to push my self off the table, I had a mixture of emotions immediately coming out of anesthesia. The ladies in his office are not your typical Newport snooty staff with the O.C. syndrome, on the contrary they are genuine down to earth people that are a pleasure to speak with. I can see they are carefully selected. Had 2 drains for 2 days and 2 days later the Dr. removed the dressing, in my personal opinion I thought it was too quick but this was his expert decision and He knows better than I. Its been 11 days since the surgery I am still wearing the compression garment as I still have a bit of swelling and the incisions feel tender. I do feel so relieved the implants are gone. I can't wait to buy a beach cruiser this summer and not have to worry about feeling discomfort sitting. If you are thinking of having this type of procedure done I do recommend Dr. Nykiel, he was absolutely better than the Drs. I was considering in L.A. I am very blessed to have found Dr. Nykiel the cost was very reasonable, I had previously consulted 2 other doctors and both Drs quoted me double the amount $$$ I paid in Newport with Dr. Nykiel and he was very kind and knowledgeable. I will return for an update and photos.
