Hi,

How are you doing? Have you seen more improvement?

Hi All! Recovery has been good, I've been exercising, even running/ Sprinting which feels great it's been years since I've been able to use my body to its full ability. I'm sooooo glad those things are out of my body only thing I'm not excited about it the CELLULITE! I feel like I really did some damage to the fascia in my buttocks , it's a damn shame we do these things to ourselves, I'll be looking into a permanent cellulite treatment like aveli soon. It is quite a bummer and the degree of cellulite is like nothing I had before this surgery it's like the tissue retracted around the 4 th month of recovery. Nonetheless I feel like a normal woman again and have no regrets except getting these implants in the first place.

Hi did you mean to say 4th month of recovery or 4th week? I'm confused

1 month post butt implant removal & feel much better

And8219
I am currently 1month-ish post op removal. Let's be honest tossing a pretty process and I've tried not to focus too much on what I look like right now because it is unnerving to see what I've done to myself for really no good reason. I thought I wasn't enough( I was) like society tends to make women feel and compared myself to the bs on social media. I never needed this surgery definitely feel like it was the most unnecessary thing I've ever done. When I had the implants I felt fake, I old feel them, pretty sure my partner could too, bending over and in certain positions with my partner my butt was hard, which made me very self conscious and not wanting to be touched. My butt looked good buttt didn't feel good. Now they are gone and I feel so freaking free! I had high hopes for what my butt oils lol lie after removing the implants because I had great butt to begin with but the implants were big ( which I do not recommend at all whatsoever) so there's definitely some damage and you could say my left side looks deformed :/ I'm hoping this gets better. I didn't have drains and I suspect I had a Seroma on the left side when the implants were in as there was always this bubble which looked like a fat deposit on the side. I still have fluid , doc said it should be absorbed over time and other that I hopefully will look more normal. I did weighted squats (50 lb kettbell) the other day and I'm still tore, I love it . I hope I can transform my butt on my own. I am optimistic. Here are pics of before butt implants, with butt implants, and my progress so far after removal. My progress pics might be a bit discouraging for those who are wanting to remove their implants but please consider it's only been a month and I honestly feel I much better, I think its absolutely worth removing if you are considering it and unhappy like I was. I only wish I'd done it sooner. Much love

Hi, i want to say thank you for posting updates about your removal process. I'm removing mine next Friday. I'm nervous about the surgery itself and the recovery but reading reviews makes me feel better. I haven't had any major issues with my implants either other than feeling uncomfortable when working out and laying on my back . I am self conscious about them though, specially when wearing bikinis. I think they look pointy from some angles. I don't think they're for me, so I want them out to feel free again and avoid any future issues. Which compression garment are you wearing? My doctor's office has one but it's a full body one.

Hi! It took me years to build up the courage to remove mine so I understand how nervous you're feeling, it'll be worth it! I am excited for you. The recovery is a breeze honestly complete opposite experience of getting them, you've already been though the brutal part, removing them is nothing in comparison. You got this! I can totally relate with feeling self conscious especially in a swimsuit, mine also looked kind of pointy and just unnatural from certain angles. As far as garments go I wore the full body one for about a month but I'm now wearing good compression shorts, also got some lighter compression shape wear, and workout leggings. I will say you're going to want some compression on your butt for sure. You are definitely going to feel liberated once they are gone! Your butt might not look like YOUR Butt immediately after removal but try not to go down the rabbit hole of what it looks like right after , it will improve. First two nights after surgery I could literally hear fluid in my butt moving when I walked it was crazy but tried to Just laugh about it never expected that lol you probably won't experience that if doc gives you drains. Life is so good without the implants!

My surgeon said he's using drains that I have to have for 5 days, so hopefully I won't have too much fluid. How was the pain after surgery? My surgeon offers a pain package that he injects during the surgery and it's supposed to reduce pain by 50% for 3 days. This is in addition to the prescribed pain medication. I don't know if I should get it
December 12, 2023
Everyone is different but my pain at its worst was maybe a 2 but I didn't have drains that in itself may be a source of pain. I didn't have drains when I got them either so I I have no idea what that will feel like.

When were you able to sit down and lay on your back again? Sorry for all the questions. I'm asking around to try to get an idea of what to expect specially with the holidays coming up. Did you put anything on the incisions like any ointments to prevent infections?
December 13, 2023
My doctor told me I could sit pretty much right away. I avoided doing at the beginning just because I was worried about the incision but I've been sitting on my butt consistently probably since week two post op. I drove about a week after surgery. I was given a bbl pillow so sat in that. As far as the incision goes there was basically a gluelike protectant over it that dissolved on its own after a few weeks, once it was gone I started applying scar gel at that point it was closed and healed. Really the recovery has been uneventful other than the initial shock of what my butt looked like there have been no complications. I have noticed as my butt heals I do have some cellulite in places I didn't before like on my right butt cheek, I plan on getting that treated before summer. Feel free to ask anything, I'm just glad to help.

Thank you so much , this doc is scaring me now into not getting the removal but I look and feel unnatural and crazy with them , they said I will have big indentations and drains for months after

I went through the same thing as you with my Stanton implants my bf hated them so much he said they felt like rocks fast forward I removed mine a year later and now I train my ass off but my leg pain still
Unfortunately hasn’t gone away and just like you I really wonder why I got a surgery I didn’t even need but I guess it’s a lesson learned hope you are doing better!
