About me: Im 5ft tall, stuck at 128lbs post kids...

About me:
Im 5ft tall, stuck at 128lbs post kids (105lbs before the kids), I have four kids - the oldest is 10yrs and the youngest is 4yrs. After putting my body through four pregnancies and not having the opportunities to exercise because all I do is clean and maintain the house when Im not sitting for eight hours in front of a computer for work, my body has gotten "soft and squishy", as I reluctantly refer to it.
After finally deciding that we were done having children for sure and having tubal ligation done earlier this year, I thought it was finally time to get my much deserved mommy make over! Yay me!
Under my chest: 34 1/2in
Small of the waist: 33 1/2in
Largest part of stomach (bellybutton): 36 1/2in
Hips: 36 1/4in
Current bra size: 34B – or so I think
For my breast augmentation, I decided I am gonna go with 500cc in a high profile silicone implant, inframammary incision. I thought the implant would look too big because Im so short, but with my chest diameter of 14cm, it seemed to be the appropriate size for me. As I tried on the sizers, I just had to keep going up because they just didn’t seem to make that much of a difference. My sisters think it’s because of my wide and pudgie midsection. I agree to a certain extent that maybe after tummy tuck, they’d look much much bigger. But ultimately, I decided to stay with the 500cc, better too big than too small. Im really excited about this! I’ve always had just really small boobs, even after pregnancy, they got slightly bigger and then just went away. What a tease. Since the surgeons don’t let us keep the sizers (bummer) and I didn’t want to make rice sizers, I found a pair of silicone “boobs” on Amazon (they have nipples and everything!!!), got a bigger bra and I’ve been wearing them regularly so people get used to seeing them. They look amazing and super natural. I’ll have no use for them after I get the real thing, but I can’t wait to toss them!
So my tummy tuck! I normally look just fine under clothes, my jeans (granted, a bit high-waisted) keeps my entire gut from spilling out, however, I'd love to be able to wear fitted top without some sort of cardigan coverup to conceal pudgie fat rolls that Im so insecure about. I currently wear a size 6 in jeans, sometimes a 4 and medium top. As for nice, fitted dresses? Forget about it. Im too insecure because I was so used to being “skinny”. My stomach is very squishy but it doesn’t stick out unless I push it out, and it actually looks flat under clothes, when Im laying down it’s also flat, but feels like a puddle of jello! With that said Im hoping my surgeon can remove all of that. It’s sitting down that’s the problem. The widest part of my midsection is 36 1/2in around, and after all is said and done, I’d love to be 29in and under. How gravy would that be? I don’t know if that’s low expectations or high expectations...but the heart wants what it wants!!! There would be some complimentary lipo done on the upper abdomen as well, and he said he can go around on the sides and flanks as well. So yay! He said “complimentary”, but even if it was included in the costs anyway, Im good with that…

Unrealstic expectations: That within 6mos post op, I be around 110-115lbs…26 inch waist =)
Realistic expectations: That within 6mos post op, I be about 120lbs with a 29 inch waist =/
We’ll see which one I end up with!!!
As of right now, my procedure date is in 3 days (Thurs) and Im so excited!!! Nervous about the pain and ugly scars, but Im hoping all goes well and it’ll be worth it. I only Thursday to next Friday off. But since I work from home four days a week and only go into the office on Fridays, I’ll be able to heal and rest for the worst part during the first week, then work (from my computer) for an additional week till I go back to the office for one day…then Im home for another two weeks before going back to the office regularly on Fridays again. Im so thankful Im not taking a full 2-3 weeks of PTO. I’ll get to take it easy.
Yay! I so deserve this!

Provider Review

Dr. Joe

Consultation: I only saw two surgeons, and I’ll tell you why. First of all, the first surgeon we saw didn’t take the time to talk to me at all, at no point did he ever pose the question “do you have any questions for me”. He basically went on his very rehearsed shpeal about breast augmentations and tummy tucks. Did photos, measurements and what not…tried on sizers and then got an estimate…I was back in my car within 30 minutes, literally, no exaggeration. That was my first so I didn’t know if that was the norm. Several weeks later, I finally go to my second consult…he was so much better, his staff spent so much time with me, going through every step of both procedure provided me with all the information they possibly could, showed us a couple short 15 minute videos. The surgeon made us feel super comfortable and he has amazing reviews, I think rated the best in the region. Our appointment was at 12noon, and we didn’t finish till 2:45pm. So a HUGE difference from the first guy. I loved this guy so much that I cancelled my third consultation with another doc.
