Burned from Laser Hair Removal

happygirl124
I had laser hair removal, and I'm unsure if the medication I took made me more sensitive to burning because I ended up getting burned. It has been five days since the burn, and I started applying silver cream from day three to day five. I have been using it daily. My concern is whether I will experience pigmentation or scarring. I really hope that won't be the case, and I'm optimistic that I will heal within the next week or so.

Laser hair removal burn

It has been 8 days since the burn, and I’m happy to report that the healing process is progressing quite rapidly. During the day, I’m applying vitamin E to the scabs, and at night, I’m using silver cream. I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can do to further accelerate the healing process?

From the photos, it looks to me like it is healing well, and it sounds like you are giving it good care. The only other thing I have been told by my dermatologists is to keep new scars out of the sun. How are your treatments going otherwise? Are they working well? I am curious because your skin tone seems fairly similar to mine.

I ended up healing perfectly with no scars, pigmentation, or discoloration. My dermatologist was shocked at how well I took care of it and couldn’t believe there was no pigmentation or scarring!
