There didn't seem to be much interest in my posts so I haven't updated in a while. I'm checking in though in case anyone is still following this: I'm doing well. :)
Healing up nicely though my belly button did shrink and almost got infected. I'm still very swollen, and only started being able to walk completely upright this week. Sleeping in my own bed is uncomfortable still so I sleep in a zero G chair. Now and then I move to the bed for a short burst of time (to cuddle the boyfriend and such). I feel like my bed is too soft and I sink into it, so it causes things to strain (can't flex my hips on it enough to get really comfy, yano?)
Really looking forward to being 100% healed up, able to exercise and buy clothes again. Also really looking forward to seeing the final result of this surgery (it is really coming along even with the swelling). The only concern I have is that even with an earplug, my belly button shrank a lot. I was hoping it would be a nice teardrop or reverse teardrop shape and it's a tiny circle instead. We also did lipo for my double chin and I can't even see any results from it (I did in the fist couple of days and now it's like I had nothing done there). This worries me and makes me sad, it was expensive. :(
Other than that, I'm doing great, and will post pictures soon.

Your tummy is so flat compared to before. My tummy right now looks like yours did before your tt. Im having my full tt, mr, no lipo on Monday, the 30th. I hope and pray I have that small waistline like yours!

I'm just into my 2nd week but as I prepared myself, I have to keep telling myself that it will take weeks/months before I see the results I want. The biggest thing for me lately has been how different everyone approaches healing. I want to be up and running by mid next week as I return to work without anyone noticing anything has taken place. But I feel you even with the post, but don't forget when people are ready for their procedure they will stalk this site and come across your site and at some point, it will be very beneficial, esp viewing the journey with photos. Best wishes to you in your healing.

I feel you on the healing thing girl. I feel like I'm the slowest healer on here. :/

I'm following you. I had my tt with mr, lipo, and fat transfer to hips only on 11/10, so I guess I'm about 3.5 weeks behind you. I'm gradually straightening up, but I also feel like it's taking me a long time to stand upright. I feel like others stand upright way before now. Maybe it just means our doctors did a really good job tightening us up. For some reason I also feel like a swell a lot more at night. Some nights I wake up feeling like I'm about to burst out of my compression garment. Please keep documenting. There people reading. I should have documented my surgery, but I'm really bad about taking pics. I'm just now learning how to take a half decent selfie. Lol

5 days post op

Anoni
5 days post op now. Lots of improvement but I still can't get up for too long except for my morning and evening routines. Sitting is out today, but the other day I managed to sit at the computer for about half an hour. Since today I can't seem to do any amount of sitting I don't have much hope for this friday. I've had my first shower but couldn't wash my hair. I feel too vulnerable without the garment. All in all good though. :)

Too chicken to shower (and other concerns)

Anoni
I took the compression garment off intending to jump in the shower with my boyfriend but once I had the garment off I felt too sore and vulnerable. As much as I hate the thing I think I'll be wearing it (and spanx type things) for many weeks to come.

At the moment I'm worried that I will not in fact be able to sit comfortably enough at the computer to play the expansion for my game (which I've preordered and it launched on Friday. .. yikes!)

I hope I willstill be up to taking my daughter trick or treating this Halloween.
