Well after having a 10lb 3 oz boy 20 years ago that I am finally going to try to get a flat stomach again. It has been a difficult decision but after reading all the posts and how happy most are with the decision I am going to do it Sept 27th. Do not get me wrong I am nervous like most people but in the end feel it will be all worth it. I have my pre-op physical this week so it is becoming more of a reality now then a few months ago. I am recently divorced so I am so fortunate that my brother has offered to come stay with me for 2 or 3 weeks thank goodness for family and friends.

Well tomorrow starts the process I have my pre-op phone call then the physical on Wednesday. Getting excited but a little nervous as well. It is wonderful that there is a site like this it has been very helpful to read about everyone's progress to know what to expect.

Yesterday was the pre op appointment and everything is still on track. Only two more weeks till the big day.

You will be very happy with your results. It's not as bad as some think it is. I was back to my office job in 11 days & walking several miles in 3 weeks. Just listen to your body and ask questions if you have any. Drink lots of h20 and take stool softeners. Keep your head up and think of the prize in the end.

Thank you so much for your insight I am most nervous about the recovery and looking at everyones results I know this is what I need to do for me.
