Went in for chin liposuction and ended up coming...
$10,000
Went in for chin liposuction and ended up coming home crying, but signing on for body lipo and a complete chin implant that to this day is off center. I met with his staff...who all seemed very nice. His assistant suggested that my chin was not strong or defined....That's why I went in for some definition. To make a very long and painful story short...I was very lovely the way I was. I was convinced and fell for the idea that I needed a chin implant. My chin implant now sits to the left of where my chin actually is. In the last photo for my DMV i.d. I look as if someone place a golf ball in my chin...but not centered it. Dr. Orloff also decided to cut some tendons to my neck and tighten things up....At one of my follow ups, he said in 10 years I would need a complete face lift...well...it more than 10 years...and yes...I need a neck/face-lift...I'm not in the position financially to do so, and since my procedure, have felt even more insecure than a woman in her 40-50's should ever feel. Thank God I have developed a sense of peace within myself. I still hate seeing photos of myself...and that's so sad...I now have a 14 year old daughter....I am trying very hard for her not to feel the pressure of having to go under the knife for anything...I have a loving husband who begged me not to have this surgery....I regret the day of signing on the dotted line....I was already beautiful. I will confess that Dr. Orloff clearly did not feel the same way..He said that I would have to have more surgery to make my chin straight. I had such a hard time with the anesthesia that my husband and friend that was there, thought I might die. A couple of days later I passed out and landed on my head...and did NOT go to the hospital. This whole thing was the worst experience of my life...And...shame on me for not having enough self esteem to run, not walk out of his office....Please think things through...DO NOT have anyone UP SELL you on procedures.
