I am young and Serdev suture lifts have ehhanced my beauty by aesthetic proportions, volumes and angles.
I was informed that Serdev suture methods are closed surgical techniques like sutures in classical face lifts are open techniques, and that Serdev sutures are not barbed thread lifts which are not sutured. I can recomend that scar-less surgeries for younger patients like me where beautification is most important. Pain was very mild and the downtime was short, next day I was working in the TV and with the help of some make up no one has understand.

Was there any skin bunching on the cheeks after procedure? How long did it take to go away if there was?

I read your review regarding the vampire/fat grafting. Please, please, please stay away from fat. It's too unpredictable and in the wrong hands it's disastrous. Type in botched fat grafting and read the horror stories posted on this blog. I've had my own negative experience as well.
I visited Dr Serdev in Sofia, Bulgaria. After talking with him and his staff I am determined to return to Sofia for a Serdev suture facelift. I investigated practically ALL info about him presented in the internet and found nothing negative. He is the inventor of the Serdev suture thread which has a proprietary elasticity which make his sutures so safe. He is also a pleasant person and welcomes foreign patients. Marianne.
Marianne I have admired his work for years. My initial plans were to go to him before I let an American doctor mutilate my face. Biggest mistake ever. Someone recently contacted me and stated Dr. Serdev's has a negative reputation but like you I did see anything negative on the Internet about him. When are you planning to return to Sofia?

Thanks for the response. I just had microneedling done to my face and all looks good and I don't need a face lift right now (I almost regret:). When I go it will be for a full face lift. Because of the needling that probably won't be before second part of next year and I pray that he'll still practice by then. I am 67 years old and people tell me I look 20 year younger. So the urgency is not there for me right now.

He is beleagured by doctors from around the world who want to learn his method. He is 67 years old (my age) looks much younger and approachable and friendly. His staff completely committed. His office is in the old town in a narrow street with large old trees, but horribly maintained side walks.
It's like in a third world country, where he lives as a precious jewel.

Ok. I did hear about his office not being the best. I would rather a modest office with great results versus an opulent office with horrific results.
That's how I feel. When I'm ready for the face lift, and if Dr. Serdev
maintains his positive online presence, I will have him do it.

Many American doctors hate him. They talk about his training versus the training that the endure. What they fail to realize is he is a cosmetic surgeon not a plastic surgeon. Moreover, the horror stories from people on this site who's suffered at the hands of doctors with great credentials is frightening. I would prefer less invasive techniques vs. a scalpel any day. I just hate that I didn't visit Dr. Serdev like I originally planned.
