Day 11

The past couple days the itching has definitely decreased, thank goodness! It is still tender and numb, but it's pretty unnoticeable.

I finally went for a quick one mile run and one mile walk, after taking basically two weeks off. I wore my tummy control contraption, which meant I didn't feel anything at all. After I ran, I did hip hop abs without the tummy control and was fine. Today (afternoon of Day 12), I am thinking I will do zumba without the tummy control. But so far so good.

I don't notice any changes as of yet, but I have been eating terribly and not working out was freaking out, so it's back on a diet and exercise regime. I read a few comments from the drs that say to not gain weight you won't have as good results, well duh! So it's back to good eating and regular exercise.

Crossing my fingers the last two weeks didn't hurt me.

Day 4

I started itching probably the day after the treatment. After reading several reviews, looks like this could last up to 2 weeks - yikes! It's like an internal itch that you can't scratch. It's more annoying than anything else.

I took the "girdle" off yesterday to walk around, and boy does it make a difference in how much I feel. I would highly suggest getting something that can keep you sucked in, you will definitely feel the jiggle. I did sleep without it last night, and woke up a few times to itch and get more comfortable.

So far so good, dreading Day 5 - since that is when a lot of folks said the "real" pain started.

I had the treatment done yesterday. And what a strange feeling! I think the worst part was the cold gel that they put on before the machine, honestly the rest of it was more strange than it hurting at all. They were very impressed by how well the machine took in my areas, which makes me hope that my results will be great.

I decided to wear a compression belt, like one you wear to hide your tummy for a big occasion. They didn't say too, but having the pressure on it makes it feel better and nothing is rubbing on the area. Not that I have done this before, but I think wearing it helped with the swelling, since it seemed to go down over night. Who knows, everyone reacts differently. But since the ones I own have boning, I bought a postpartum tummy belt. I think I would be more comfortable and adjustable. It is coming in a few days, i'm excited to see how it works out. I will probably wear one until the soreness goes away, which I read can be up to 2 weeks.

Like everyone else I am feeling a bit of tenderness around the areas that were treated, like I did a ton of core work. I have a tiny little bruise on one side, but that's it. I am functioning just fine at work, and would say that the pain on a scale from 0-10, 10 being the worst = I am at about a 1.5. I notice the "pain" more when I am walking around, but it's more that annoying sore feeling. I think the compression garment helps, since it would probably would be a different story if I wasn't wearing it.

I don't have any pictures to share as of yet, and probably won't have one until my follow up appt in three months. I will definitely post them when I get them.
