I forgot to mention I have also been taking Zinc and found out recently that Probiotics aid a great deal in recovering from any surgery, protect the stomach against antibiotics and help fight off infection so I'm now taking the highest strength probiotic pill I could find which as 50 billion live cultures per capsule daily.
I read that protein after surgery is also important to aid healing but know that many of us lose all appetite immediately following surgery and as I'm also doing this abroad I have packed protein powder and Spirulina to make into daily shakes with bottled water, protein bars, and nuts to nibble on and as well as that I also know constipation is a major issue so I have a jumbo bag of pitted apricots and another of prunes to help keep me regular alongside milk of magnesia.
Crackers and Ginger Nut biscuits for nausea and my own ginger tea bags and standard English tea bags too. When I arrive I will buy enough bottles of water to drink 3 litres per day and have a water pouch which holds that much per day and by doing all this hope to keep my body healthy, bowels moving and not spend too much money on food out there, the only downside of this is my suitcase weight allowance is now history and it weighs a ton!!!
I have already been drinking lots of water and stopped all alcohol ages ago and am just eating normally other than that. I've packed 1 sports bra, a few jumbo sized underpants and shorts to cover the open crotched compression garment, a dressing gown for the hospital stay, a 3 size too big tracksuit for the return journey and a few long cardigans, everything is dark coloured incase of leaks, there is no need for lots of clothes stuck in a room for over a week, they just need to be comfortable and open fronted oh and some slider slippers I can slip my feet easily in and out of.
I bought a toilet stick aid to help wipe, feminine wipes and a wash cloth for each day I am there as well as a heat pad for the back pain and even a blow up rubber ring just incase my butt starts to hurt, my return flight has a wheelchair setup for both airports as I will not be able to go it alone and I will set up my home so that as soon as I return I can immediately sit/lay down and rest with everything within hands reach, my living room will be my new bedroom lol!
I'm apprehensive about travelling alone but also know that it is better I am in pain alone as I'm not the best patient and I also hope that it'll help me be more mobile more quickly,
Dr Molnar says I do not need to bring any bandages, lotions, potions or foam as my garment and bandages will not be removed unless they change them for me which i'm very happy about, he also only keeps the drains in for 2 days so thats great as I've heard they're a nightmare for some.
I have ordered a Marena garment though for when its time to change down after a month I just hope I haven't ordered it too small/big and I will order silicone strips for the scars when I return.
My freezer is stocked with healthy ready meals, soups, bake in the tray chicken and other things I've pre-prepared, I can't do anymore than i've done at this point so i'm now counting down the days to surgery and hoping for excellent results and recovery and wishing the same for y'all.

Next month, new body!

So there’s now less than a month to my sx and I’ve packed everything I need already!
I will decide whether to have a lift or a lift and aug at consultation as I am still apprehensive about the implants.
I started a few vitamins that are said to aid healing after major surgery they are as follows:
Vit A
Vit B complex
Vit C
Vit D
Iron
Selenium
Yakult probiotic
Bromelain starting 2wks before sx
C-Q10 coenzyme starting after surgery

My wrap around all in one abdominal board and foam arrived and I will attach pictures but have decided I will only use it under my garment after all my wounds have healed as the board is just a hard plywood and cannot bend at all and it is a small medium and will be too tight with swelling and open wounds the fabric is also not medical grade and I do not want to risk infection.

1 month pre

I'm booked and staring to get provisions ready

Well after a lengthy phone call with Dr Molnar I am all set for a full TT with MR, BL&BA, back, flank and inner thigh lipo!!!
Just writing out now isa little overwhelming to be honest, it's a full body overhaul for me which I know will not be easy to recover from but I'd rather get it all done then do it over a longer period of time.
Dr Molnar seems a very polite and pleasant man who is very knowledgable and realistic in regards to recovery and expectations and I do not feel as apprehensive or worried after speaking with him.
Where I will be staying is right next to the hospital/clinic so they will only be a call away and best of all I will have 2 nights in the clinic which makes me feel so much better travelling alone without help.
It's really happening and its happening soon, I will now start getting my supplies for the trip abroad for the sx and then for my home recovery!
I'm also now trying to mentally prepare myself for the pain/recovery/boredom and loss of independence in those early weeks but I imagine like child birth nothing can prepare you for these things lol!
