I meet Dr. Buchanan in September 2016 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The result of my treatment was bilateral mastectomy with breast reconstruction. This surgery was done the end of October, 2016. Dr. Buchanan explained what to expect during surgery, after surgery, and through recovery. He answered my questions, even before I had the chance to ask them. He explained things in layman terms which made everything easier to understand. He has such an easy, casual manner and put me at ease from our first meeting. When he stopped by to see me after surgery, he was so considerate and comforting and that helped relieve my stress and anxiety. Dr. Buchanan and his staff have made this experience so much easier than I ever expected and cannot thank them enough for all their care and attention.
