Horrible Experience

2022 UPDATE*
If you plan on having a surgery at this office, even a minor one, please read about my experience first.
My experience at this office was not only the worst I have ever had, many professionals I speak to are shocked by not only the surgery method, but how I was treated by the office. I went in originally for a consult to have a lip lift, fox eye lift, and buccal fat removal. Sanjay was extremely late (every time I visited) to my appointments. I brushed this off, it was a small price to pay for what I thought would be a quality experience, especially for the price. Sanjay tried to talk me into a rhinoplasty. I thank God every day I didn’t agree to allowing this man to touch my nose.
Before the surgery, I went over paperwork with an employee. I specifically said no to any of my content being posted on Instagram. She wrote a “no Instagram” note on my paperwork and had me fill it out anyway. Shortly after my surgery, this office uploaded a clear video of my full, unconscious and uncovered face. Not even my eyes were covered. Luckily I’ve kept screenshots of this, along with their email apologizing for posting TWO videos of my surgery by mistake because they “are human”. This was extremely embarrassing and I was distraught for days after finding this out. UPDATE: they did it again in 2022.
I had to miss work and seek out avenues of emotional support due to the lip lift recovery. At no point was I made aware of the amount of swelling and damage to my nasal sills. There is nothing I wish for more than to go back in time and seek a better surgeon. My nasal sills are now uneven and flattened. The day my stitches were removed, I developed a deep hole along my nostril where I’m assuming the skin didn’t fuse together. (Photos shown). I had to wear a bandaid across my face to literally hold it together. Sanjay offered no relief for this, and brushed off my complaints.
The day of the surgery was unlike any surgery I have ever had. For paying over 16k, the surgery didn’t even take place at an office owned by Sanjay. My mom and I couldn’t even figure out how to get into the sketchy building. I second guessed having the surgery once I stepped into the building. I wish I listened to my gut. Sanjay was somehow extremely late to my surgery, despite it being the first surgery of the day (according to the nurse taking care of my IV who was also frustrated with his behavior). After surgery, I had woken up to a nurse in the corner of the room at a desk yelling at me for touching my bandage. It was the most upsetting way to wake up after being under. I was wheeled out into the waiting room in front of other patients who were staring at me. The nurse was trying to get me to calm down (I was crying in pain) to not scare the patients, and shoved pain killers in my mouth. Yes, I have a witness to all of this behavior.
Further, instead of dissolving my previous lip filler prior to my lip lift, Sanjay injected more filler. I noticed shortly that this filler was migrating above my upper lip, moving my upper lip down even more. That was the point of the entire surgery. When I brought up my concerns to the office, Sanjay said he thought my lips looked fine, I felt as though he just wanted me to shut up and accept my unhappiness with my $16k+ surgery.
A few months later, still being very unhappy with my scars, holes, and treatment, I reached out to the office to see if they would be willing to make things right. Instead, I was greeted with a false accusation of me “no showing my scar treatment”. Not only was a scar treatment appointment never offered by Sanjay or his staff, I never booked one. And I absolutely never no showed it. I asked the staff to show me the reminder for this “appointment”, and obviously, they were unable to do so.
