Devastating Buccal Fat Removal Experience
I underwent buccal fat pad removal earlier this year where the doctor removed 70-80% of the fat. In the process, he also damaged the nerves on the left side of my face and it has felt numb for months.
Much worse than that is how the procedure has aged me significantly and I regret having it done on a daily basis. I can't imagine what the results will be like in 1+ years once all of the swelling goes down.
The vast majority of the population does not need buccal fat removal and I hope sharing my experience will prevent others from making the same mistake.
