Buccal Fat Removal with Lipo

It’s been 6 weeks since I had the procedure done in Mexico. The parking was easy, the office was nice and clean. Everyone was really nice and spoke English. The doctor does move fast, but I didn’t mind because I didn’t have many questions and was excited to begin. It was done so fast! I was asked to rinse my mouth out with mouthwash before starting, which was provided. They first did the buccal fat removal, then the liposuction. They numb you and you look really funny after they inject you. Then they cut the inside of your cheek to pull out the buccal pad, you may taste some blood and the fat when it’s pulled but that’s it. No pain. I didn’t even notice when they sew my cheek. That’s a good thing. Then they make a small incision under your chin and stick a liposuction thing in there. It only hurt when it was by my mandible under the ear. Then they gave me a wrap to wear around my head and cannot take off for the next two weeks unless I have to shower. They give you a prescription you can buy downstairs across the street. It’s antibiotics, swelling pills and cream for like only $23. Then after 2 weeks I just wear the head wrap to sleep. It looks like nothing changed because you’re swollen. It had a lot of yellow bruising in the chin area that went away within a week. Bruising fully went away after 2 weeks. After 4 weeks my results were obvious! My chin is so much more defined! I no longer have sagging cheeks or smile lines. I also don’t bite my cheek when chewing gum anymore which was an actual problem I had often. You can’t see the incision inside my mouth and my chin is healing like any other scab would. I have no nerve damage and no pain, swelling is gone, and I have higher confidence. I also have no sagging which was a big fear of mine. I’m 22 so I do have young skin; but doesn’t mean you can’t have tighter skin if you’re older. Oh yea, no more double chin, even when I purposely try to do a double chin it doesn’t form! It’s wonderful. If you’re looking for a subtle change then this is it. It looks so natural, for the price... I still can’t believe it. I love it. Thank you doctor!
