Buccal Fat Removal Experience

I was a little apprehensive about booking a surgery out of state, but after talking with Dr. Demetri and his staff I was sure this was the right place for my Buccal fat removal! Dr. Demetri made sure all of my questions were addressed, and one of the things I really loved was being able to talk over what MY goals were for the end result with him. He listened to my concerns and didn’t try to push me one way or another, which I think is HUGE whenever you’re pursuing a cosmetic procedure. The day of the procedure, I was set up comfortably by his nurses. The surgery was under local anesthesia, so you are awake, but I didn’t feel anything besides a slight pulling sensation. Dr. Demetri and his team made sure I was at ease throughout the surgery. Start to finish I was only in the office about 2 hours (although, they were more than happy to let me stay longer). That night I had minor soreness, but by no means anything intolerable. The entire process couldn’t have been easier, Dr. Demetri is incredibly caring and professional! I would recommend him to anyone thinking of getting this done, even if you are not in the LA area, his staff was more than accommodating in helping me find somewhere to stay. I am so SO happy with my visit!
