Amazing Bichectomy Experience @ Clinic Smalia/Barcelona!

Sorry for the late update, but I was ill and had a lot to do.. So now here is my update! :)
The procedure was the most amazing beauty experience! It was a very hot day in Barcelona, when I headed to the Clinic Dental Smalia, only 10 minutes away from my air bnb.
I got welcomed so nicely by this adorable staff of clinic smalia! They were so kind and because of that my nervousness got much better. Of course I was nervous, as it was a beauty procedure out of my country in a city, where I know noone! But the people were super nice and kind and calmed me a lot. I knew I really wanted to do the procedure, so my will was much stronger than my fear.
I got all the papers and all the clearing and was able to pay after the procedure. There was no stress at all and I was able to ask all the questions. They gave me some pain killers before and then I went to the "operation" room. I was soooo nervous, but the staff was so amazing, there was nothing to be scared about. The surgeon, Roberto, is the best doctor ever! Sorry, but I am not exaggerating. He is also extremly beautiful.. )))) *smile*
He injected me the local anesthesia and that feeling was not that nice, as I was very nervous and it hurt a little bit. But after that, nothing hurted anymore and I was so fascinated about this whole process; how they got rid of my buccal fat.. It was very interesting to see this *lol*. I really felt, how much energy the whole staff put into making me happy. They were really dedicated. I felt myself in very good hands! The left side was a little bit more difficult than the right - but in the end the right side was muuuuch more swollen :))
So, they got rid of my buccal fat and the whole procedure was like 30 minutes. They took out 5ml of fat on each side. :) This is a lot! Average is 3-4ml. But I am happy that it was not more than 5ml. They gave me a piece of paper with all the important things to know about and some recipes for medicine, I needed to buy myself. Everything was just so well organized! I even got some recommendations for restaurants! THIS was so kind but also a big problem, because after the procedure you are not able to eat properly! Please keep this in mind, this is very important. You should eat a big meal before the procedure, because I was not able to eat properly for one week! This was part sucked totally... Because I love eating :-) The swelling got worse after some hours, the worst day was the third day I guess. After seven days I looked normal again, but I still had some little bruises after two weeks, which were good to cover with make up. I went to work on the fourth day (procedure was friday, went to work on monday). It was funny to fly back with this gigantic cheeks! :D I just said that I got rid of my wisdom teeth.
Everything healed very nicely, the stitches on the right side were off after two weeks and on the other side after 3-4 weeks. Everything was perfect, seriously, everything went so smoothly, I am still impressed.
The staff even wrote me some days later, how I was feeling. They also wrote me a second time after several weeks, to see how everything is going. Also the nice doctor wrote me at Instagram again, to ask, how I am doing. I mean, how is this even possible?! :-) I AM AMAZED.
Well, I will give you a third update soon with my result. One thing I can already tell you: I AM SO HAPPY AND IT LOOKS SO GOOD! :D I feel much better about my face, I look much more slimmer and contoured. But nobody has noticed the change yet, so I think its still very natural! No worries about hollow cheeks :) I really think that its very important to have thick skin if you are willing to do this. I have very thick skin and I think this is a key to a good result - also check your parents cheeks for reference!
In total: It was really the best decision to go with Clinic Dental Smalia for this procedure. They did everything to make me feel good, the procedure went perfect and I felt perfect! Everything was just so professional and nice. Just like it should be, but often is not. So ... I recommend them very, very much! I also gave a tip, because I was just too happy about everything. :)

It is currently the 6th day after my Buccal Fat Pad Removal & I just had the time to start my review about my experience at the beautiful @dentalsmalia clinic in Barcelona!
I will add pictures later, as I first have to edit them to keep the review anonymous.
I always hated my wide and chubby face. I even had "puppy fat" still in my 20ies! Even though I was underweight at some time, my face still made me look bigger than I was. It was ridiculous! Worst was when I smiled. It made me so anxious. Because when I smiled my face got like 3 times wider/fuller. It was awful. :( With time it got better, but still with 26/27yrs it bothered me a lot. I always had a lack of self confidence, because of this. In pictures I never wanted to laugh, because I knew it looks weird. Of course, I am a litte bin vain about this and maybe also hypercritically - but you know how girls are. We just want to be our most beautiful self and sometimes we feel, that we are just not good enough in one or other areas. So I was tired of feeling unsecure and researched about this procedure, which is still very unknown in Germany.
I read a lot of positive and negative things, thats why it took me a long time to go for this procedure. They talk about face paralysis (worst!), but also about sagging face afterwards, more wrinkles and a hollow face. So I really needed to take my time to think about this. A short time I even cancelled my plans on this. But as my parents still have puffy faces in their age and I also have a very big, thick skin.. I think I was a very good candidate. Additionally I will def. want to have a facelift in my 40-50ies, so... Saggyness won't be a longterm problem *smile*.
Because of the risk of face-paralysys it was very important for me to find a good doctor in that case. I found out, that this procedure is very expensive in Germany, but I found a doctor, who was near to me and wanted not that much money. I wanted to go with him, but because he acted unprofessional in the beginnig, it was a no-no from me. So I looked for another clinic and found the clinic dental smalia in Barcelona. I contacted them through E-Mail and they answered very quickly. They answered everything very friendly and professionally. I was amazed, I felt very understood! Also I was totally calmed down, as the doc said I would be a good candidate for this procedure (I sent pictures). This clinic is a dental clinic, so I also was sure, that THEY really know, which nerves are in which places in the mouth - so no face paralysis for me. Also the doc makes this kind of procedure very often. So two big YES-YES from me :)))
I made an appointment and booked the flights, which were cheap. Also I booked an nice and cheap air bnb for two nights. To make a little bit sightseeing in Barcelona seemed to be also a super nice extra :) After that the appointment got fixed and I only needed to stay calm for the next weeks.. :)
