Just Do It!
Fantastic experience! Changing your face can be scary, but I decided to trust Dr. Adibfar’s recommendations and I’m so glad I did.
I initially consulted for chin liposuction because I was unhappy with my double chin, and the doctor explained that my weak chin largely contributed to the issue and that I’d benefit from a chin implant as well. I was apprehensive so I opted for chin filler first and the improvement was unmistakeable before even leaving the clinic. I booked the lipo and implant in the upcoming months, and a couple of weeks before surgery asked Dr. A if he thought buccal fat removal was appropriate for me. I have (or had, lol) quite a round face and he said that mine was the only kind he would perform bfr on. I was concerned about ending up gaunt, and he took the time to address my fear and even showed videos of what I could actually expect, and ultimately I decided to go for it.
I was scared of ending up with a “witch chin” and chose the smallest size implant (4mm). However, I asked Dr. A what he thought and he said the next size up, 5.5mm, would be ideal and that he could shave it down to 5mm.
Surgery went well, and the team at Elements are always available for anything you might need. My results are both subtle and fantastic, and I’m thrilled. No witch chin, no hollow undead cheeks, and no lipo bumps 4 months post op! No one in my life realized I had work done - a few people said I looked prettier or asked if I lost weight. I am still me - just more refined.
4 months post op I was getting my regular Botox with Dr. A and asked if he thought I’d benefit from lip filler, something I’d never done before, since my lips seemed smaller now that my chin has more projection. He said it would absolutely be beneficial and would balance my face - which it did. I feel like it was the last puzzle piece, and I can’t stop looking at myself!
Something I’m very appreciative of is that Dr. A doesn’t just spout off a bunch of procedures that he thinks you need, but waits for you to bring up the concern, like my buccal fat and lips. He also will straight up say you don’t need some of the things you ask for. Just trust Dr. Adibfar and don’t look back :)
