Here are my results…………2 years 8 months post op. Honestly the best thing I ever did to my face. It completely changed the way I look and I love it! I had an egg shelled head - round face and full cheeks which aged me. Removing the buccal fat gives me a slender oval face and I look more youthful imo.

It has been 1 year and 9 months since I had my buccal fat removal surgery on Jan 10, 2021.
My face has changed so much in these 21 months. This is the FINAL result.
Please note I have had chin filler, lip filler, cheek filler, and under eye filler. I also had a lip lift 4 months ago.

It has been 4 weeks, and can still see some on right side...did you experience same? I have a call in to doc, bc not sure if he took it all out or partial. My right was worse than left. I want it ALL gone!!!!
I did not have the same experience. Hopefully it has gotten better.
I had a buccal fat removal done by Dr. Donath in Cincinnati Ohio. Very bad results He skeletonized my face. He pulled the fat out of my whole cheek area and my temple area. Now my cheeks are flat and hollow and my temples are sunken

I’m not a doctor or a plastic surgeon. However, my recommendation is to get Sculptra in the temple area. To fix the cheeks, get a fat transfer and put fat back into the buccal area. Also, do not use social media to find surgeons. Use trusted platforms like RealSelf to find surgeons who specialize in the procedure you want done. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

How many months until you saw a noticeable reduction in the buccal fat area? Seems like the area stays swollen for quite some time.

Picture of fat pads (buccal fat) removed
I added a picture of the fat pads that were removed for reference. The entire fat pad was removed from both cheeks. My face was not large to begin with but made a huge difference. Refer to my uploaded photos for before and afters.

Me too, just had it done a week ago by Dr. Adair Blackledge, Jackson, MS. I have a thin face but buccal fat protruding especially on right side. Glad I did it and love Dr. Blackledge. Been to him for eyes, facelift, cheek implants.
