I carry all of my weight in my tummy and my flanks...

WORTH IT$10,200
I carry all of my weight in my tummy and my flanks. After two children, working out 5 times a week, not eating carbs...I'm finished with this! I saw three doctors and chose the most expensive one. Why? He spent the most time with me and gave me the most hope. We'll see, we're two weeks out! I'm doing abs, flanks, and arms. I'm hoping to lose the muffin top!
I will upload my photos before the surgery!

so how did it go? how are you feeling afterwards? i was afraid to get in the shower a day after surgery cause i thought the water streams would hurt me (but they didn't).

I'm in a lot of pain. One of the bulbs from my drain won't stay compressed.... But, I'm starting to feel better. Putting those darn compression garments on are killer. Holy cow, batman! I'm washing mine for the second time today due to all the gushing of stuff. I have four drains...so if one isn't working, I should be ok? Right? My doctor's office is closed and they say if it is an emergency call 911. I don't think an inflated drain is reason for emergency.

ya putting the compression thing on tighly hurts in the beginning! i had 5 incisions total and one of them leaked for 2 days staight of blood, so i put a hand towell folded up over the bandage, under the compression thing, so the compression thing dosent get too much blood all over it. but it should stop leaking after 2 days max. (what my doc said).
you did the arms too? how bad does that part hurt now? can you do your hair and brush your teeth and such wtihout pain, or does lifing your arms hurt?

The arms are the best part. They don't really hurt and you can really tell the difference on them already. My drains are catching most of the blood...and today I feel much better.
Yesterday I drove from PA to NJ and I'm not sure that was a good idea!! But, I'm sitting up in bed typing this and grading papers.
I get to switch to one compression garment tonight at 8PM. Two of these things are killer. When do you fly home?

oh nice that the arms don't hurt much. i flew home 4 days after surgery. today is 8 days after, so i've been home for a few days. ya driving still hurts me, when i hit bumps and stuff... just my love handles still hurt. up and down stairs, or walking real fast (when i had to chase my dog) hurt, haha. my stomach only hurts when i push on it. i'm going to take new pics prob each month after surgery to see results. excited to see yours too!

So, when did you start feeling more spry? I just slept four hours. I have two kids...and this is taking a toll on their activities!!!
I'm hoping day 3 gets me more mobile. I guess if you flew on Day 4, you were better?

ya i took 1-2 naps everyday while i was in the hotel. i was more mobile like 4-5 days after surgery. i thought it was the meds making me tired. i actually took the pain pills when i wanted to nap or sleep, cause it helped. but you should be alot more mobile in a few days.

Wow..I guess I should consider myself lucky. I had my procedure done on Fri. AM and was out to lunch by 1. Sore to touch but nothing more than that. I have 4 entry sites and they are slightly bruised.
I was in my one piece garment for 24 hours, and now spanx for 2 weeks.
Returning in 2 weeks to have inner & outer thighs done.
Really would love to have my arms done, but I was worried about the bruising & hiding it in clothes.
It sounds like you are really happy with the results of yours though!

Wow...really? I was in the "room" for over 6 hours. It took two hours just for the arms. It is amazing how different doctors are. I go back Thursday to have my drains removed. At least I'm down to one compression garment. Still draining.

updated pics?

I'm just two days out, nothing to really take pics of. I can tell a small difference in my waist, otherwise, I'm bloated and still full of liquid!!
I'll take a picture a week out.

I know, I cannot wait until it is healed. It is day 11 and now, I can really tell a difference. My clothes are fitting better, I just can't wait to get rid of the garment during the work day.
Are you still wearing your compression garments?

ya the garment is annoying. i have to wear it for 6 weeks. i'm 2.5 into it now.
ya i had the vaser, not smoart-lipo too. i think smart lipo is for smaller areas, like a neck or knees. (i think.)

where did they put the incisions for your arms? was it just one for each arm?
April 22, 2011
I have one near my armpit, and one near my elbow in each arm. They aren't healing as fast as they said they would...they are still full of fluid.

He's fantastic, I highly recommend him. But, yes, he is expensive. I love my results. I have abs for the first time EVER.
