Temple lift with very obvious scars and absolutely zero lift

ORIGINAL POST

Temple lift

My goal:

-lift the temple/ outer edge of my eye creating a more cat eye appearance and releasing some of the crows feet from droopy lids. I specially asked about lifting my brow tails only and scarring/ incision placement to be sure it was hidden

What I got: a mid brow pretrichial lift with very obvious scars and absolutely zero lift to my tails. Asymmetry is worse than before as elk and When I asked the dr at my one week post op why she did different than discussed she said " I did the incisions where I did because your brow would have been flat if I lifted your tail and hair will grow through the scars."

Surgery was on December 1, 2021-I am now almost 7 weeks post op.

To be honest I'm devastated! I never would have agreed to this procedure had she had told me the scars would be on my forehead in the thinnest part of my hair!!! I wear my hair up or half up every single day and style those baby hairs as part of my brand. I'm in the beauty industry and am just so sad that my hairline is ruined and I have bright red deep scars in front of my hair with very very minimal lift!!!

Dr Winslow CHOSE to lift the center of the brow after I went to sleep on her table which is not at all what I signed up for!!! My quotes and all my paperwork clearly stated temple lift and I did years of research on this procedure and knew what I was expecting and dr Winslow did not deliver!

I have not seen dr Winslow since 1 week post op due to corona virus and holidays I have expressed my concern to her front desk and her nurse Triste which I wanted with sympathy but was told they would speak wirh dr Winslow, I am very concerned for how she's is going to adress these concerns and why steps will be taken next depending on her response.

I wonder if it had something to do with the stitching…. Please keep us updated on the outcome and how she responds.
Truly hope it works out for you though.

HelloHelloHappyDay - Did Dr Winslow do your temple lift too?

I had horrible issues with healing of my lateral browlift with Dr. Winslow. I ended up with a "swamp" of infection, pus, that you could visibly see moving under gentle pressure of a Q-Tip. Living out of the area, I texted her and her skin expert for several weeks, and Dr. Winslow left it to her skin person to advise me on how to care for the infection. After a few weeks of texting back and forth with the skin expert, she finally told me she had been fired weeks before I began texting them, so I don't know why Dr. Winslow didn't take the initiative in advising me, and instead leaving it to her former employee. I ended up having to fly back and get lodging to be treated, but it was way too late to salvage both areas. I can't confidently wear my hair up because the scarring left me without hair, which is embarrassing. My hairdresser was appalled the first time she saw my scars. It looks like I have a receding hairline. Really makes me wonder how many people are out there with disfiguring results, such as ours?

On another note, I did get a SMAS lift and chemical peel, and those had excellent results. I wish SO BADLY that I hadn't opted for the modified lateral brow lift, but I was hoping to lift my eyelids so they wouldn't stick to my epithelial layer of my left eye, which would often tear when I opened my eyes upon waking in the morning, which was a result of a dry eye condition caused by PRK (photorefractive keratectomy).

I have devastating results from my endoscopic brow lift amongst other procedures performed by my surgeon who I flew to have surgery with in Beverly Hills . ( Guy Massry) I have a raised hairline, hair loss at and around the incisions and lumpy scars at the incisions. My forehead is lumpy, dented temples, my upper lids look very hollow. It is causing severe dry eye. Horrible over corrected aggressive brow lift. You guys are not alone. I had severe nerve pain for months. My scalp itches like crazy. My hair had not laid right since the brow lift which made me look worse.

Absolutely devastated by these scars. I do not feel comfortable with this Dr doing a revision as she swears she did a temple lift. This is a pretrichial hairline brow lift!!! I have asked for some type of reimbursement due to malpractice of working on wrong area and negligent aftercare. I am so upset and will be looking into legal options if not resolved.

I feel your pain. I had an endoscopic brow lift along with some other procedures 3 months ago, and am in pain and have scarring and look 100% worse. This was done by a very prominent surgeon and he is not even offering a revision. One brow was over corrected and has not dropped. My forehead looks deformed. I lost hair at the incision site. . I want this reversed or revised. My eyes are pulled too tightly. I am devastated as well. I am sorry you are going through this.

Hello, what ended up happening? Did you have a revision or steroid shots? Did your hair fill in?. I am almost 3 months out from a brow lift and it was the worst decision I have made. I have cried Nd I know that makes me look shallow but I didn't realize how much my hair meant u til it was thrown away in chinks from the 4 incisions right in front! I can't hide it. It was supposed to be tucked away in the back but it is right in front just behind a fine row of baby hairs. And to top it off my brows are in the same place. Actually they look lower because I used to hold them up but I can't at the moment because my forged is stiff. Anyway I just want my hair to grow back and these scars are ridiculous. Tell me what happened to you so I have some idea what to do..
