Where do I start because it’s going to be a long review. Right before my surgery I saw the one review here on realself from a girl who did the same procedure with dr. Ufuk askeroglu . I asked the assistant ( doctor's wife) about it and she mentioned this girl had psychological problems and a lawsuit was filed etc . There was no need to worry . He was the best and I would be the happiest girl ever. The girl with the review also didn’t have major issues .. she had no result and so I wasn’t too worried. Off I went to Istanbul. I had the assistant arrange transport and hotel which was an extra cost of 700 dollar. It was an OK hotel in an average street but ok . I had my consult the next day and I sat in like this high chair where they put fillers and Botox and he asked me what I wanted. That’s basically all he said since he can’t speak English ( or doesn’t want , i don’t know) he told me I needed a midface lift as well and that was it . Ok I went with it. This took 5 minutes, max 10? Already RED FLAG. He doesn’t give any information and even today I still don’t know what he exactly did and that Is also my responsibility and I fully accept that. I should have gone home on the first flight possible. His wife took me to the room next door and tells me I also need a browlift so please an additional 2000 dollar. I told her I didn’t bring that because I was only counting on Bella eyes and midfacelift . Ok she said “a 1000 dollar?) don’t tell your friends this special price she said . ( what a SCAM)but ok I paid for it and so I gave her 7500 dollar . Next day was my surgery. I got no explanation of the surgery , no instructions no nothing. Transport to the hospital and back you also have to pay yourself by the way. On the day of the surgery the dr walked in and asked me if I had questions and that was it. He is not a real warm friendly human but I didn’t care for that. I wanted my results. The girl who wrote the review here on real self was right. The hospital is OLD AND NOBODY SPEAKS ONE WORD ENGLISH. You fill in forms and the lady at the door asked me questions in Turkish which I ofcourse could not answer. FRUSTRATING. Then somebody came with a phone and used google translate. I tell the nurse my allergies and how I react bad to anesthesia but if they give me something for that I am always fine .( all with google translate and that worried me since I have a bad allergy for a certain medicine that is dangerous for me if I take it ) No problem they said . I woke up SO SICK. I vomited the whole night. It was HELL. HELL which almost traumatized me. I woke up covered with tape on my face which also nobody told me about . Had to stay on for a week. ( I ended up having tape on my face even longer) O ok. Maybe nice when you get told about these things. Then in the afternoon the next day I had to leave and tried to get a taxi ( I was so weak from vomiting hours and hours .. had to change clothes in the night and the bedding , that’s how sick I was, why don’t they have medicine for that.. saving money maybe ) anyway taxi brings me to the hotel that the assistant arranged. I felt so weak and tried to order food. NO KITCHEN because of Covid. The guy in the hotel told me to walk to macdonalds outside. Like WHAT?? I send the assistant a message . No answer. They only answer a day later if you are lucky . My boyfriend moved me to a 5 star hotel and a place who would get me food in the room. Because you look like a monster and I don’t want to go walking outside. I lost all my money from the previous hotel ( no refund the assistant told me) . Hundreds of dollars down the drain. INSANE. But anyway. this procedure gave me such bad swelling and I been looking a monster for WEEKS. Still now it’s not 100% almost 6 weeks later. 2 days after surgery my eye got infected and this is the biggest problem of all. He messed my one eye up. What he did I don’t know? But it’s a total different shape than the other eye. Today I have two different eyes. And the eye that he messed up ? I still can’t see sharp, it hurts and looks weird . I am BOTCHED. And currently busy with a specialist who can fix me. And where is the assistant now? QUIET. just swelling she said . All swelling. When they have your money they don’t care anymore. PLEASE DON’T GET FOOLED BY INSTAGRAM like me . He even buys his followers. I paid 7500 dollar for no result when it comes to the browlift. Then He messed up my beautiful eyes and even the midface lift I see no result . I hope my eye can be fixed and that I am not botched for life. This whole trip was a 10.000 dollar joke incl flights , 2 hotels , taxi’s and all. The care for INTERNATIONAL patients is NOT THERE. There is no aftercare also. I had to WhatsApp the assistant with questions like .. when can I wash hair , what must I do , when can the tape come off. Nobody told me anything . Nothing. I am still numb above my eyebrows and Some places on my skull. Can’t feel a thing. Should be normal. I hope it comes right . I don’t know. TELL THESE THINGS to your patients so we don’t get a heart attack when coming out of surgery. Tell them about the mad swelling , about what we can expect or else don’t take international patients . They just want your money!! Please don’t go to him! I regret this like nobody’s business. My experience was HELL and is still hell today since he messed my face up. I have to now spend money on more surgery to get my face fixed . His “work” on Instagram looks amazing , i agree but he messed me up properly and nobody is answering me anymore. They don’t care because they have my money. I don’t want to post my whole face but I will show you how asymmetrical my eyes look.
