I'm a 69 year old woman who colors her hair and wears it spiked up to look "youthful" and decided it was time to upgrade the face so that everyone would believe the brown hair (hahaha). I visited Dr. Hui twice, three weeks apart, and she used both Radiesse and Bolotero during each session. I will review Radiesse here and will write another review for Bolotero. Dr. Hui used the Radiesse to plump out the hollows in my cheeks and to firm up my jaw line. She used a cannula, which means that she made only four needle sticks into my cheeks and jaws (cheek/jaw on each side) and then used a long bendy needle to swish around under my skin and place the Radiesse where needed. The needle business felt weird but was pretty painless. Filling out my cheeks and jawline not only gave my face a more youthful appearance but also caused a lot of my droop (jowls) to lessen significantly. Hooray!!
Dr Hui took before and after photos but I didn't take any of myself.

Do you remember how many vials you had injected?

Hi Jill. I guess this question is about the Radiesse review. I don't know how many vials were used, just that cheeks were done in the first session and jaw line in the second, so obviously at least two vials. The total cost for that was $2000.
