How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Received my aligners!!!!
It's been exactly two weeks from my first appointment to te my 3D scan and I received my aligners already! I got a message Friday November 11 saying my aligners had shipped and were on the way. I received the aligners on Monday Nov. 14. It was super fast. I started wearing them today (Tuesday) and they feel a bit weird but no pain so far. They are also very unoticeable.
I called them today to ask them a question and the rep was very nice and thorough and sent me a follow up email. Their customer service so far has been great. I'm so glad I waited until they were up and running. I'll update after my first set of trays!

I first heard through SDC through Instagram late...
I first heard through SDC through Instagram late last year. I have been doing some digging, reading reviews, etc., and have heard a lot of bad things about their customer service. I decided to try them after they opened an office in Brooklyn where they take the 3d scan and all pics since I was not convinced of doing it if I had to do my own impressions and take the pictures myself.
Fast forward a few months, I scheduled an appointment online. They had availability for the next day! But I made de appointment for the following week. I made the appointment in the morning, and in the afternoon a representative called me to ask me a few more questions. She was extremely nice, answered all my questions, and gave me directions. I schedule an appointment for my brother for the same day as my appointment and she was nice enough to do it for us. He had to reschedule and they were very nice and accommodating to his schedule.
Fast forward to my appointment; the office is small and two dentists (not sure what they are maybe dentist assistants) who take the impressions and photos, it is a comfortable office and in a pretty nice and brooklyn-ish (for a lack of a better word) office building. There was a person being evaluated and someone waiting when I got there. So I did have to wait about 15 minutes to be taken care of. But the dentists (?) were very nice, apologetic for the wait, and in the meantime I was filling some paperwork so that is NOT a big deal for me, at all. The person taking care of me was nice, explained each step of the process, took all pics, and answered the million questions I had. I got a free 8-minute whitening. I didn't see a difference right away but its free.
The information i got is that I make the payment when I received my treatment plan and that would take no less than 24 hours and no more than 2 weeks. The more movement I needed, the longer for someone to get back to me with my plan. My appointment was on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. I got an email with my treatment plan on Friday, November 4. I was very surprised that they got back to me so quick.
My treatment consists of 16 trays. Which (i think it is different than how the treatment was) but it is 3 trays per month. The first two trays for 1 week each, the third tray 2 weeks. That makes it less than 6 months for my treatment. In the 3d plan the end result look perfect!
I could either do the monthly plan ($250 the first payment, $99/month for 15 months for a total of $1,750), or a one time payment of $1,500. I decided to do the monthly payment. The total came up $1,650 because I had been provided with a $100 voucher.
I am not waiting for my aligners. They said that it would take 4 weeks to receive my aligners since they are custom made. I can't wait to start the treatment! I had braces for 2 years before, but never wore my retainers so my teeth shifted back a bit.
I will do monthly updates since my treatment is so short.
