Well I had metal braces in my early 20s.
It was a 9 month stint & of course I stopped wearing my retainer!
It was annoying, then I got a boyfriend so yeah lol.
My teeth aren't horrible by any means.
I'm just being vain & wanting no gaps.
I like that Clear Correct has the Phase 0 trays, so you get used to the whole routine of wearing the braces, cleaning them, & taking care of your teeth with out having to worry about the pain of shifting your teeth.
I'm still on Phase 0 right now.
I've noticed white marks on my trays, I guess it's from biting down & sucking my tongue (or tongue thrusting is the medical term).
That worries me because it's only been 2 weeks.
I hope they don't crack or tear.
I begin Phase 1 on or about 11/6/14

I'm Ready for Phase 1!
Ok, so those "cracks" on my trays were just dirt!
*slaps forehead*
I was cleaning them with the denture cleaning tablets but I wasn't brushing them as well. Silly me, but then again, no one at the dentist's office told me how to take care of these things.
Trial and error I suppose.
I'm not going to lie, I don't burst after every meal. I chew sugar free gun & rinse my mouth out with water, and brush as soon as I get home.
I work at the airport & my breaks are only 30 minutes.
Takes 5 minutes to heat up my food in the microwave & about 20-25 minutes to eat it. Who wants to have to sprint all the way to the bathroom to brush their teeth after eating?
I worked a double on Friday & when I got home Saturday my trays were so gross, I just left them out. Like super gross, I didn't eat anything else during my extra shift, I rinsed every time I went to the bathroom. I guess since that's the time I'm usually asleep and you know when you wake up and take your trays out they have that smile, well this was that & then some.
I took the trays out Saturday morning because the top ones are so loose that I can pop it out with my tongue & sometimes it slips out. I put them back in Saturday afternoon & went on with my errands & getting ready to go out, then took them out again (I was out for a friend's birthday at a restaurant) and left them out.
I'm going to put them back in tonight though.

Did they tell you how many hours per day you're supposed to be wearing he trays? Invisalign you only wear for two weeks but they expect 20-22 hours wear-time per day. With CC you wear each for 3 weeks...

They just told me to take it out when I'm eating or drinking. Everything else I either Googled or used common sense. I aim for 20 hours, I like leaving my trays out for a while after I eat so my mouth can self clean if I can't brush.

It's good for your mouth pH to neutralize again, too. Continued success in your treatment. :D

Commencing Phase 1!
I thought this was going to be a quick visit.
But, I was wrong, little did I know I was getting engagers put on. I wish I had known, I wouldn't have made the appointment right before work (which I was an hour late for).
2 hours and a million tries later they finally got the engagers to stay on.
I wish the dental assistants didn't do this, because I didn't feel like they knew what they were doing.
Thank goodness it was only 4 engagers!
They are annoying to feel on the inside of my mouth without the trays.
The new tray was a little tight. Gave me a headache while I was at work.
The next day while I was taking them out so I can have breakfast one of the engagers fell off. UGH! After all that time not even 24 hours later the MF falls off.
I called the office and the dentist said since it was only 1 that I should be fine for the next 6 weeks, but I have a feeling that another one is going to fall off before then.
I have all of my trays for the next 12 weeks.
In 3 weeks I start 1B, 3 weeks after that 1C, & etc...

Congratulations on commencing phase 1. It is not unusual for engagers to fall off, but with only four, I'm surprised it took that long to put them on. Oh well. At least they're nearly invisible. And your teeth are so straight, it might not be that essential. My impression was that engagers were most important for torquing movements. But I'm not dentist. If you lose another, I'd definitely go in and have them fix it before 6 weeks. If they don't need them, there's no need to put them on in the first place, right?

The woman putting the engagers had no idea what she was doing. Well that's what it felt like.

Maybe you're contributing to her education :). I hope they thanked you for your patience!
Are you you sure they're cracks? I'd definitely talk to your doctor about that, because the trays are supposed to stand up to wear for 3 weeks! You don't have engagers yet, right?
