Hello All,
I joined this forum to gain insight and also give feedback on the process of my BBL! I'm a nervous wreck as I know my surgery is fast approaching.

After two years of contemplating on the BBL, I continued to look at my body in disgust after having my last daughter. I lost my butt and shape; begin diets, exercising and wearing corsets. Nothing worked. So I finally gained support from my girlfriend on going for consultation. I went for a consultation on 1/20/15 at New Look New Life Surgical Arts in Brooklyn Ny. The consultation went well with all my questions answered. My procedure will cost in total $9000 including my aftercare garments and post op appointments/follow-up. I will have my surgery done by Dr. Vega and Dr. Karlinsky on 3/4/15. I'm excited and nervous. I also go for my blood work testing on 2/17/15 and my concern with that is my iron level as I suffer with anemia. I'm currently on pills to build my iron already from my physician since November. My levels were low then and I hope it will be built up enough to have the surgery on my originally scheduled date or it will have to be rescheduled. I need support through this and felt this forum can open up dialogue with pre op and post op patients and even those curious as well. I will continue to update and posts along my journey. :)

Girl if u want me to keep it real and give u my opinion- save a few stacks and get on the plane and take ur ass to Dominican Republic stay at a recovery house for a 7-10 days where u will be good taken care of. And trust me u will look better then u expected. It's a lot of us from n.y. And world wide taken that journey for that new body. I can give u the top two doc that will doll u up for half ur money u spending. If u want to buddy up I'm out the end of March. I will give u all the info u need. It's nothing to be scared of we in this 2gether

@ Cubanruler props to you respect your honesty because some people tends to be extremely sensitive so i just keep my mouth shut most of the time. DR and Miami is the place to go but i personally feel more comfortable going to Miami because i has a lot of friends and family there. I too contacted 3 of the best BBL inDR and I received great quotes. Good luck doll and safe trip and surgery. PS who is doing your bbl?

Welcome I am going to do my surgery in Miami but has not pick a date yet. Am either going with Dr. Hassan or Dr. Fisher. I love, love their work plus my friend just had her bbl with Dr. Hassan and I love it. The best BBL dr. in NY that I have seen so far is dr. Schulman and I stall was not so thrilled about his work , plus he is very pricy. I am a perfectionist and money is not my issue, I just want to get what I pay for. I have never heard of this surgeon before and i hope you seen her work and you will be happy. Good luck doll and keep me posted.

Hey doll! I wish you well also. I have been in contact with this particular surgeon for awhile now. I have been contemplating getting it done for awhile. I trust it and I love the facility and have seen her work. I'm nervous but ready to go. I didn't want to go to Miami and chance losing projection on my flight home. So I rather stay close to home with my kids as well! I wish you well and will post along my journey too :-)

I completely understand. I too lives in Brooklyn and have a small child but am planning to stay 2 ks when I do decide. God luck and keep me posted.
