34 Year Old Mom, Anatomical Implants 240cc - Brookline, MA

After over a decade of contemplating breast augmentation, I bit the bullet after a good friend had a wonderful experience with Dr. Tantillo earlier in the year. From the fabulous and informative first consult, to the follow up visit with my husband (that I initiated and Dr. Tantillo was understanding of), I felt like I was in great hands. Even something as simple as not charging a consultation fee made the process a more pleasant one. I brought lots of photos as I had a very specific look in mind -- I am a tiny person, only about 100 pounds, and my breasts had withered to AAA after the birth of my child. I thought I had small boobs before -- but they got smaller after having a baby and breastfeeding a bit! So with the photos from his website and some pictures of models/actresses whose bodies I admired, we settled on 240cc textured anatomicals. Dr. Tantillo reassured me when I asked about the "spinning" concern of anatomicals -- he said he wouldn't offer them if he didn't feel capable of implanting them successfully, and made sure he was good at it because he saw many patients, like myself, for whom anatomical are the right choice. I asked about going bigger but Dr. Tantillo's concerns about the height of the implants in my small torso made a lot of sense. I trusted him completely. The information packets provided at consult and after booking the surgery and post surgery were really helpful and candidly written - I felt like I understood what to expect before and after and wasn't wading through medical jargon. The staff on the day-of was lovely and reassuring, and when we had a snow/rainstorm a week later on the day of my follow up, I didn't go into the office but instead had a great phone call with Blakeley and went in a week later. I never wait long in the office at all and the staff is always smiling and friendly. The surgery has been a tremendous success. I followed all the suggestions for recovery the best I could, and now just around 9 months later, they are looking nearly perfect. Every month they get better and better, and my confidence has boosted tenfold - especially in summer clothes and workout clothes. I am more fit than I was before and I don't hide my body. I wish I had done this 10 years ago but maybe I wouldn't have found Dr. Tantillo. He was worth the wait!
