WORTH IT$13,500
I've been reading all these threads on here and I thought I should write about my journey for others. All your stories and experiences have helped CALM me down and the pictures speak for themselves. I haven't really told anyone except my Husband and a couple friends. I feel a little vain doing this, but honestly, I don't really care! This body created 3 little people and I have a lot of years left with it. Why not be able to enjoy it?!!
I've been thinking about doing a Mommy Makeover after we had our 1st boy. However, I knew we weren't finished having kids....until now (after 2 more)! We are officially done and my Husband even braved the "scary" vasectomy to make sure! I have a 3-4 inch abdominal rectus separation and it causes me to look pregnant even though I work out religiously (even have a personal trainer). My Husband is really supportive even though he says I don't need it, but he knows how tough I am on myself and really want this for ME (not for him). So, we met with several plastic surgeons in our area and none of them did anything for me. At the end of the day, it's a business and I needed to find a doctor that had a humble side to him. Well, we found him a couple weeks ago and I didn't even hesitate to book him the next day. The absolute soonest he had open was Christmas Eve (he is Jewish) and I am starting a new job mid-January. Had no choice, but to go ahead with the date. Santa will be coming a bit early for our kids this year (lucky them). :)
So, I will have having a full TT w/ muscle repair, a breast lift (I have prior implants from 2004 that we are leaving in), and lipo to my bilateral flanks. Doc said it will be about a 5.5 hour surgery which scares the crap out of me. I know this is exactly what I want to do, but like everyone else, I think of the worst case scenario. I will be staying the night in the hospital so they can monitor me. I like that. Hopefully they bring me a nice Christmas breakfast in the morning. HaHa.
I'll be posting my before pictures a little later and I would love to gain some realself Mommy Makeover friends to talk and share our journeys together!!

Doc said he would have me hooked up to a PCP pump after surgery and throughout my night stay. I honestly wish he'd put a nerve block in, actually. I'm a PACU nurse and I find these to be extremely amazing for my patients. I haven't asked him yet, but I plan to.... :)

Not sure how I feel?
I have just 5 days and a wake up before I do this. Throughout each day and I am and down with emotions. I am completely excited at one moment and then I am feeling regret for even considering this in another. I know this is completely normal, but it's literally ALL I think about. I do have a lot of trust in my surgeon and that helps (a little). So today, I'm going to call the hospital where my procedure will be to speak with the anesthesiologist that will be assigned to my surgery. I just have a lot of questions and I want to know their process of doing things. I definitely want to know if they are using a BIS Monitor. Using one of these during the surgery is a HUGE deal to me. Until later...! :)
