As much as I loved my implants & feeling confident, filling out my clothes better, since I’m so thin on my upper body…..I had my implants removed 12/23/2019.
I feel they caused a lot of symptoms. Implants are made from many chemicals that DO NOT belong in our body, right over our vital organs!

Were your implants silicone, or saline, or something else? Did you become ill with a disease after having implants? I hope you are feeling better now.

They were silicone, over the muscle. Regardless of the filling, ALL implants are in a silicone shell!
Silicone is the caulk I put in my shower! It’s not supposed to be stored in a warm human body. I had lots of weird stuff going on & now I feel much better!

Thank you for posting your journey. It is very helpful. I have had my implants for 17 years & I am still deciding if Removal or redoing with implants. I guess I don't know what removal will look like...How will it fill up my clothes... I do believe Removal of implant is the healthier option. I am now 46 years old. Are you still happy about Removal overall?

I’m happy because I feel better. I’m not happy that my breasts are small again. But they look just the same as before. Not ruined

I think implants should have been bigger to fill all my skin. U can see a gap between implant & rib. Bummed! You can tell they are fake!!

Capsular contracture

I went to see my PS, he confirmed I had capsular contracture. He recommended I try taking Vitamin E for 1 month. If that didn't help, he would prescribe Singulair. Vitamin E didn't help, Singulair did. I feel my left breast has softened but it's still a tighter ball than my right breast. ????
