- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

I made the appt for a consult regarding a breast...
I made the appt for a consult regarding a breast lump, and a possible reduction/reconstruction because the mass is large. I explained to the receptionist who recommended I bring my mammograms and ultrasound reports. Upon arriving, the receptionist said to "hold on to them"
and give them to the doctor. I had explained that I had this procedure many years ago. I explained it to the doctor, the receptionist and later to two more office staff members, including the woman submitting the insurance. During the appointment, the doctor didn't even look at the reports I had brought. I was told to call at the end of the week, at which point a letter will have already gone to the insurance to obtain approval. When I called, I was told "the doctor must have been confused because it will take about two weeks to get it out, and it was probably to remind us to send it." Really? I called
Two weeks later, they couldn't find my file. I called another two weeks later, and was told they were waiting on the insurance company. I grew suspicious and I called the insurance company myself. Upon checking, they found no letter or correspondence between the doctors office and my insurance. After finding this out, I called Dr. Goldstein's office and spoke with June. She explained that my file is the next one to be submitted and that I had been "put aside because I don't have cancer and they have patients that need immediate attention." I was mortified. When I mentioned that the lump had grown... She said "you don't have anything here about a lump, this is for a reduction." Not ONE person recalled mention of a lump, nor the medical record even had mention of a lump. June explained that I should have brought the reports. I told her I did but no one checked, and she asked me
To drop them off. When I explained it would be impossible, she told me to call the practice that had the mammograms and ultrasounds and forward them
To her. (Something that was already in the presence of their office but was sent away with me.) June explained whomever did my surgery before "didn't know what they were doing and can't be very good." She told me I need to see a breast surgeon instead. She also went on about her own cancer experience years back which meant nothing to me, as it was just a distraction for their own continuous mishaps and miscommunications in this case. The doctor then called me the next day, explaining that he looked at the reports and was " in Agreement with everyone in the office" (there are only two doctors so I'm not sure who "everyone" is) that I need to see a surgeon because the mass was "concerning." I explained I made the appointment regarding the lump, and that's what I went for! He said "maybe you should use who you used before if you're not happy." If I were in the same state, I gladly would have! I requested my records and made an appointment with a more competent practice. A week later, when my records failed to show up, I called and spoke to Lauren, the office manager, who was stern and angry with me, and literally hung up the call three times when I requested to speak with the doctor, or leave a message for him to call.i don't doubt that they are "re-writing" the records in the time they are "preparing" them. They had to take photos and I wonder where they will end up. I've never in my life dealt with such a disorganized, shady and unprofessional office who tried to cover their mistakes so badly. I have already filed a complaint with the AMA, the insurance company and I'm hoping the time wasted with the irresponsibility and cover-ups with this place hasn't wasted more valuable time in a medical sense for me.

Under the control of the office staff, who is as unprofessional as they come. I've never been told that my previous practitioner "couldn't have been too good" by a medical record woman who was trying to give me Medical advice. Very sad.
