My BBL Went Wrong. Need Help to Review.

I had my BBL on Oct. 18. When I looked at my self after the treatment I saw purple big patches on my face. A nurse practitioner told me that it's normal and it's pigments and these spots would turn brown and fall off. But what I can see that these spots are just bruising. On the next day a swelling was terrible. I returned to the office and was suggested to take prednisone to reduce the swelling. The procedure and medication made me feel miserable. I am on day 5 now. medication help with swelling, but I am not sure what to expect from the burn and bruises. I am terrified. I can see that patches are not turning brown, but rather fading slow like bruises. This is really because the procedure wasn't done in correct settings. Need help how to speak with doctor and will it go away?

Thank you for writing that post. I'm not an expert but that is not the normal reaction after BBL. Looks like the settings were too high? That would be a good idea to go consult a doctor, to make sure you don't have infection. Hope things will go better.

Can you provide an update on how you healed?

Do you still have scarring from the BBL procedure or did the dark spots fade?

I am having pretty much the same reaction and have been reassured that this is totally normal. It’s not ok for people to post bad reviews and not follow up. I would like to see what honest276310 looks like now? I have already noticed that the broken veins on my nose are gone, and I’m just on day 3.

How long did yours take to heal? My face is covered with purple.

No, there was no explanation. Another provider told me next time to do IPL, not BBL

Why are you doing this laser on a Fitzpatrick 4? I would be doing tyrosinase inhibitors prior to peels. and
