BBL Has Ruined my Face

Forever young BBL hero has ruined my face. I had the treatment 1 month ago for some minor sunspots. A doctor performed the treatment to my entire face. Immediately after face was red/swollen, brown spots were dark. They peppered and fell off within 10-12 days. However the texture of my skin completely changed. Orange peel all over, crepey patch on forehead, vertical lines below eyes and around nose. I went for a follow up and she said it’s normal however I knew it was not. 2 wks after I started getting pain in my cheeks and eyes. All of the sudden I noticed changes including my eyes sinking, cheek fat pads deteriorating, chin shriveling, forehead fat pad shriveling, temples sunken in. Now when I look in the mirror I can see both ears bc the lateral fat pad is no longer there. My face hurts most days. It’s also starting to affect my vision.
I have been told that this laser cannot get down to fat, however that is incorrect. Any device with enough thermal energy can penetrate fat. I believe I was over treated and this device should be banned. I am completely devastated to the point where I don’t even know if I can work. So far I’m using very gentle skin care and moisturizers. Spf with zinc oxide.
I will need dermal fillers at a minimum but not even sure when I should get them as I don’t know when this destruction will stop.
If anyone else has had similar experience with BBL/IPL please help!!!!
And if you’re thinking about forever young BBL please do not proceed. Just do a chemical peel. Will add pictures later

Oh I have been there hon! It was the most devastating thing that ever has happened to me. The best thing I can reccomend is get constantations and find a doctor you can trust talk about voluma injection to help with some of the fat loss and get allastin skincare it's the only thing that helps retain moisture for me and take a good liquid collagen supplement also once you get some volume back start working on thr texture with done goof chemical peels pray and ask for strength daily to love the face you have today. Cheering for you♡

You need some fatty acids and hyuralonic acid. Put the hyuralonic acid on first followed by a good fatty acid. I've heard of this happening to women, some tell me the orange peel effect lasted a year. You need to get those cells to turn over quicker, go to a good derm and find out about retinol to get those cells to turn over quicker. Remember the normal 28 day cell turnover doesn't apply as we age. Still, slow and steady will win the race and many do not want to take that route. Still, settings news to be adjusted for different areas of the face and some practitioners don't do it. Same with micro-needling, that's why I prefer a machine if your doing the entire face over a pen.

I agree, I had similar problems with IPL 20 years ago and I think it does improve with time, at least the skin texture part improves, but not to freak ppl out but I think it takes a few years. HA helps in the meantime.

Happened to me.with one BBL and Moxi. I only had one small fat pas under one eye. They are both large under both eyes now. Because of that its like there is a shelf and both of my cheeks have dropped. I have barely left the house in three months. I have seen ever doctor possbile. Psychiatrists, plasic surgeons, occuloplasttic surgeons. I will need lower bleph and eventaully probably a facelift. Ladies please use good skin care and stay away from the lasers. I was sold the same line about them not being able to go deep enough to get to your fat, not true. I think the eyes have really thin skin and they should go around that area at all.

Yeah I got malar bags from IPL. I know this may not help right now, but stay strong, I went through this 20 years ago when I was 21 and it was a nightmare, and my mom and every medical professional told me I was crazy, making it up, etc. and it was horrific. But I got through it, everything’s okay, I had some filler, some Sculptra and I accepted some of the damage and it’s okay.

I hope you’re getting out of the house now and things are improving. Do not let these garbage “doctors" ruin your life, find a way to be happy, don’t let them destroy you!
