BBL and Hall Caused Facial Fat Loss

I started my journey with rosacea. Full face, fat face actually. Big cheeks, high cheekbones. No fine lines or wrinkles. I was diagnosed with rosacea and found this center for treatment. They were amazing. The doctor even complimented my cheeks and face volume. I had a BbL early this year, skin was beautiful after. However slowly I started to see volume loss, at the time I didn’t realize that was happening. So I went in and got Botox thinking I was aging. The Botox lowered my cheeks and my face was horrible. I went back for 2 more BBLs and a Halo. Last BBL and halo were in September. Now- my face has lost so much volume. The Botox has worn off and now I know it IS the lasers that’s causing me to age from looking 23/25 to 40 or higher. I now have lines all over my cheeks and face. Extreme fat loss in cheeks. I’m devastated because I was told this COULD NOT HAPPEN with halo or BBLs. I went back to Erin twice. Cause I was concerned and she was clear it was the Botox. I have so many before and after that it’s proof Botox played a role but now the fat loss is 100% because of the lasers.

4 months post 2nd BBL and halo. Have 2 months left per 2 seems and a diff plastic surgeon to see finally fat loss results. Skin still horrible condition and orange peel texture. I went to a reputable place. Did my research. Take amazing care of my skin. There is NO way you can’t say this was performed correctly. To cause such devastating fat loss when being told IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE by the aesthetician doing it to me.

My apologies. I don’t know why it added so many! I’ll edit and put in what’s necessary and proper context.

Happened to me with one BBL Young and Moxi. It has been 9 months and I feel like Im still losing fat. The depression is crippling. I am sorry for any woman going through this. These laser techs very often so not have enough training. I think that was what happened in my case.

Same thing happened to me, I look worn out and old, I totally regret having this treatment. I had Moxi and BBL together. After the session my skin was so hot that I couldn't leave the surgery fan. After that my whole face swelled up in quite a serious way, my skin is better now, but I still have some of the thread veins which I was the reason why I undertook the treatment in the first place.

They say laser genesis doesn’t penetrate deep enough for to reach fat yet its wavelength is 1064nm and sculpsure which is 1060 is for melting fat. Laser genesis is recommend to get skin to 39-43c for collagen and the sculpsure is recommended to get to 43-47 for fat destruction! The lies they tell. My face look ten year older and before it I was only just starting to feel good about my appearance, it was very short lived.

They say many things about the safety of all these procedures, but I don't think anyone knows how safe it is until the procedure is complete and the body recovers. Let's not forget that everyone is different.
I know what this feels like. It is devastating. You can do fillers, but I think the best long term solution is a fat transfer to the face. That's what I had to do. Expect to require 2 to 3 separate fat transfer procedures if you go down that route. The body can only integrate so much transferred fat at a time.
Make sure you do an exhaustive search for a doctor. I left a review several years ago for the guy I went to.
These stories break my heart. I hope my information can help someone.

Thank you, I will try prp first and then look into fat transfer. It’s like the laser destroyed all the connective tissue and elastin under the skin the skin just hangs off the muscles so my once sculpted face just hangs now and the quality looks like it’s dead and no fullness, I wake up every 30 mins at night time in a panic attack wishing it was a nightmare I could wake up from. I went from looking 30 to 70 from the procedure. People stare and look at me strangely now, I’m not sure how I can go on with this suffering.

I am wondering if right after the procedure there were any signs that it was done incorrectly? Like lots of swelling or burns? Also, how soon after the procedure did you notice the negative changes? Thanks for any info you can provide!
