After being on birth control pills for several years and exposing my skin to the sun via vacations and even the tanning bed; the skin on my face was left extremely damaged. I had finally had enough and decided that I wanted to have a consultation to see what I could do to correct the damage. After meeting with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist local to my area I decided to go with the BBL treatment.

Wow amazing results! You look great! Was this only one treatment? I am interesting because I used tanning beds when I was younger and am looking into BBL. Also how much did the treatment(s) cost?

I can see a huge different of reduction in your hyperpigmentation. Make sure to apply SPF 50+ to protect your skin from more damage.

Wow! After looking at your afters what an awesome result. Can I ask if the damage on your face was classified as melasma? I ask because that's what I have an I wonder if BBL could be a solution. Your skin looks great after.

The hyperpigmentation on my face is now more prominent. From what I've read and what I was told this is a good outcome as all of the "darkness" will be coming to the surface of my skin and then dissapearing over the next week or so. Fingers crossed that this is the outcome!

Any updates?? Can we see a progress photo? I'm scheduled to have my first BBL appointment in two weeks but I'm terrified about the healing process where everything darkens/flakes off. Details/suggestions please!

I've been gently cleaning my face with a peroxide cleaner each morning and evening and making sure to moisturize a lot! Today. several of the dark spots were able to be washed off!! I am getting excited!! Even though the initial treatment hurt like hell I am thinking about getting a second one done.... maybe even a 3rd. They recommend 3 treatments -4 weeks apart at my dermatologist office.
