BBL laser facial treatment

I purchased a package of 4 BBL treatments at the advice of the med spa I go to for facial treatments.
I was told it would help with broken capillaries and some minor pigment. I had my first treatment November 2018 and it wasn't too bad. Skin felt fine afterwards until about the 4th or 5th day I noticed I looked like I was having a major breakout of bumps all over my cheeks and forehead (I do not usually get acne, if I do it's one at a time but rarely).
I made an appointment with my dermatologist doctor thinking I was having a reaction to something. I was told I had hives or rash of some sort and it was probably a reaction to something I ate, since I hadn't changed my facial routine or products. It seemed like it lasted forever!! I want to say 5 months before it slowly died down. I didn't go back to do the BBL because I was traveling quite a bit and then summer hit and it wasn't a good time because they stressed that I needed to be out of the sun 6weeks before and after treatments. That was impossible at the time.
Finally a year later this week on Monday I had my 2nd treatment. I didn't wear makeup for days after, did my normal facial routine. 5 days later Friday, I noticed I have bumps all over my forehead as if I am having a major rash but looks like acne in certain lighting. I'm now convinced it's the BBL as it's happens twice now. I do not get bumps of this kind ever. So afraid this is going to last another half a year!

This is a KNOWN side effect called Orange Peel Texture. It makes me so mad that they are acting as though they have no clue why your skin is reacting this way.

Oh I am here to tell you that is most certainly is a horrible side affect! It happened to me too!!! Devastating and so wrong!!!

I had this happen too. My face was fine but my decolletage and neck broke out in a really itchy rash and even after a year if I use any type of cream there now it gets a huge, extremely itchy rash where I had the treatment on my chest. Face never was a problem.

Spoke with the clinic today

I spoke with the med spa that did my treatment today and we are thinking I am definitely having a reaction to the laser (BBL) they think it’s kinda of similar to those who have heat rash reactions to the sun. I am not blaming the clinic, I am sure this works for some people, everyone’s skin is different. I just really hope it goes away soon. It’s been a little over a week now, and it’s still the same. Bumpy rough uneven skin, that the best make-up in the world can’t cover up , and it’s Itchy and sensitive.

The bumpiness and itchiness went away after a few days. So much peppering so I think my results will be great!!

My chest is still sensitive after a year. It will randomly break out in a severe itchy rash and I have to take Benadryl to get it to go away. My face never had that reaction.
