WORTH IT
Feel completely fine now, forget about the boobs most of the time but still not raising my arms or carrying anything too heavy. Really happy with the way they’re starting to look. The left has dropped slightly more than the right but they’re starting to look very nice. The wounds are healing up nicely, the right looks a bit neater than the left though but they feel nice and smooth. although after I went to see the nurse last week she put a piece of something between my wound and my plaster which was too long and it dug into my skin and cut it. I made sure it was clean and covered it with a plaster and it’s beginning to heal now. The scabs from my wound have mostly fallen off now also. After I showered my boobs felt so soft I couldn’t believe it.

Feeling back to my old self now. Don’t have any pain and can sleep on my side without too much discomfort. Left one has definitely dropped more than the right. Going for my check up on Monday to get the stitches cut so hopefully all that is going well.

You’re looking amazing!!! You must be over the moon .... thanks for the update it’s great to hear that only after two weeks you’re feeling much better. Are they tender still? I guess my main worry is if I would feel chest pain whilst cuddling my daughter!!! Good luck with your stitches on Monday! X

Thank you! They feel fine now, the chest pain went away after about a week. Just waiting for the wounds to heal still. But feeling normal now so I wouldn’t worry too much about your daughter. The first week will seem quite long but after that the time goes by fast :) when is your operation? X

Operation is in 7 days!!! Next Saturday! Super excited and super nervous. Still can’t decide whether to go for 275cc or 300cc, I know it’s a tiny difference but I don’t want big boobs!! I want a nice C looking size. What size would you say you are at the moment?? I assume you’re still in the sports / post surgery bra?? X

What size are you now? Mine are still settling and looking different to me day by day (will upload another picture soon) so I don’t know the proper size yet and I haven’t been to a shop to get them measured but I used a tape measure and did a few online calculators and think I’m a 34C! They do feel massive to me but I think it’s just getting used to them and I don’t think they look silly compared to my body. I’d probably say go for the 300cc! X

Thanks! I’m a 32B now .... loving for a full C but woken mind a D as the more I’m reading the more people are saying don’t even worry about the cup size just concentrate on wish picture boobs and the surgeon will have a better idea. The surgeon has ordered both 275cc and 300cc for me to choose on the morning. I honestly change my mind about four times a day hahaha. I think I will go for 300cc tho! Looking forward to seeing your progress picture and really hope you’re feeling good. How’s sleeping now and do your scars look ok so far? What are you putting on them? Did you take any arnica tablets or anything days before surgery? X

Yeah mine said the same. I wouldn’t worry too much about the size although I know it is important. My advice is after the surgery not to get obsessed with constantly looking at other people’s results and doubting your own. Today mine look so much nicer than they did 3 weeks ago so it really is a process you have to wait for. Just updated my progress pictures by the way! Sleeping is fine now can sleep comfortable on my side, sometimes hugging a pillow. Yeah I took them for about 2 days before but I wasn’t very good at taking them so didn’t take as many as I could have. Not sure if they made a difference but worth trying. My nurse advised me to eat pineapple after as it helps! Also take some laxative sachet things to help with the bloating x

One week!!
So today it’s been a whole week since my surgery. I am feeling so much better. I have not been taking any pain killers now and finished off my last antibiotics today. I do feel quite nauseous today but not like a fever but hopefully this will pass. I was allowed to have my first shower today so I got to have a look at the wound properly. It looks as good as I could expect nice and neat and I hope that it will heal nicely! Just got to wait for the boobs to drop a bit more now. I like the way they look front on but from the side they’re quite high up still so will be excited for them to drop more naturally. I’ll update with a picture in a week to show how they’ve changed :)

Sounds good to be off the pain meds! I'm only on day 2, so its gonna be a few more for me. Are you wearing a pressure band too or just the bra?

Hope you are doing well! Are you happy with your results so far? Yes I’m wearing a compression band and bra. I have to wear the band for 2-3 weeks and the bra for 6. Can’t wait to get the band off as it’s so uncomfortable.
