After researching surgeons I chose Dr. Ali Hussain with many years experience of this procedure. From my first consultation Dr Hussain was attentive and approachable. He explained the procedure which would give me best results and showed me a video of a similar operation he performed on a woman of similar age and build to myself. The procedure was in a day hospital where the wonderful Niki, Dr Hussain's assistant and nursing staff were there to make me feel comfortable and prepped for the Op. Dr. Nick Gavaghan the Anesthetist was ready to answer any questions and spent 20mins with my husband discussing post op pain meds and care. I was up and walking out of the hospital 2 hrs after surgery with no need of post op drains. Dr. Hussain was available 24/7 and attended to me at his surgery on average every four days to check on healing and change dressings. The wonderful Nikki was available 24/7 and checked with me daily by phone. She was so experienced with this type of op and always had helpful and caring advice. I had a slight infection in my navel which was treated by antibiotics and checked, cleaned and monitored by Dr Hussain in his surgery. I am now 4 weeks post op and very happy with my new shape. I highly recommend Dr. Hussain and his team.
