it has been 10 months since my Fraxel treatment and my skin is not so bad as when it was first done in fact its looking quiet good. I still have pores that and more visible then prior to the fraxel but not so bad that i think about them constantly and i think i am the only one that notices them. I got caught up in all the bad reviews and horror stories and was looking closely at my face every 5 mins in harsh light (sunlight and badly angled lighting) until i realized reading these reviews and examining my skin constantly was doing me any good. I can happily say i am happy with my face now. I hope you all have had the same results .

How long until you noticed the rough texture went away? Did you do anything to help it?

Blah having a bad day today wish I never had it done now especially on my face as i was happy with my face in general. Still very red, pin holes very noticeable, now noticing white bumps on my neck guess I should be thankful they arent pin holes too. its kinda like chicken skin.yuck. I am now noticing scars that i had before but could barely see are quiet visible now too, did anyone else notice this ?I will need to emil my derm and see what he says but i feel disheartened before i even hear his response and i should base it on how you guys were treated ......

So sorry this happened to you! I recommend trying the natural remedies first and save the harsher things like peels for a few months at least. It's been almost 4 months for me and still dealing with bad orangepeel texture. Sometimes I think it's getting better, sometimes I think it's getting worse. My skin looks much like yours.

Yes its the same for me too Janey sometimes i think oh its not so bad its getting better then other times i think Holy C**p what have i done to my once smooth skin. a lot depends on the lighting ..sadly another friend commented today "whats going on with your skin she said your skin was always nice and smooth now i see pores all over your face" :( ........... where did you get yours done and how many treatments and how many passes did they do ?

I had my treatment in Albany NY. 1 treatment. Not sure about the passes/strength. Mine was just on the nose. That area is left with lots if enlarged pores and weird wrinkled/scarred skin. I'm thinking of going back to my doctor one last time to show him it hasn't gone away. He also said it should resolve in 6 months. Other doctors can see the issue so there is no use denying it. I'm just not sure what I should say when I go back.

I would have to say that the only improvement on my skin is most of the pigmentation on my face is gone, and there are other way to remove that other than fraxel, over all my skin texture is worse than before. fingers crossed it will improve as its still early days

Thank you for the update - how long did the doctor say it would take for you to see the full results of the treatment, I understand that it is usually 6 months.

They said 3 months but I am hearing 6 months from other people so i am going to give it the 6 months i hope the rednes goes soon as my face being so red is what draws peoples attention to my face and it feel hot and yucky

It's been 9 monthes, and I have not improvement. My skin looks worse than ever. Wrinkles, hollows under eyes, skin texture is horrible. I wish i would have NEVER done this.
I am happy that things turned around for you and that you are feeling better about your results. Did you use anything on your skin to help resolve any issues, or was it just time? We would love a photo update. I hope you are enjoying the holiday season :)
