After years of concern about my tired looking eye bags and some extensive research I eventually contacted Mrs Shah Desai for a consultation. I initially felt more inclined to go to an oculoplastic specialist rather than a general PS and I immediately felt reassured by her obvious extensive knowledge and experience of rectifying this type of problem. She meticulously listened to my wants and expectations and reviewed photos of a younger me before recommending a transcutaneous blepharoplasty with lateral canthopexy under general unaesthetic.
In the interim period between my initial and follow up consultations she was always available and patiently responded to my questions and concerns.
The procedure was well explained and went smoothly. The incisions and stitching were so expertly performed that even before the stitches were removed they were barely discernible from my lower lashes. Bruising began to subside within a week and had all but disappeared within 2 weeks.
Now 3 months on I am delighted with the results.
