Well It all started because I began having breathing and sleeping problems a few years ago. However more recently it began to get worst. Friends would tell me that I was falling asleep during conversations and while out at dinner, then would wake up a few moments later not really recalling ever dozing off. I even dozed off momentarily during my college graduation ceremonie (I have pictures to prove it!). Then, when I would settle in for the night I became a perpetual insomniac, staying up for hours before finally sleeping, then waking a few hours later to toss and turn all morning. It was definite problem. So I sought out an expert. After searching and asking some friends I decided on meeting Dr. Karimi. After my first visit we quickly learned I was experiencing sleep apnea, caused by several reason. I had Polyps in my nostrils from being allergic to something over the years that I did not know I was allergic too ( never having an noticeable allergic reaction in my life). I also had blockage in my sinuses and did not have a significant left sinus chamber. I also had a very deviated septum. With all this combined we had quite the problem on our hands. After taking a simple pre-surgery medication regimen, surgery passed by painless and quick, I hardly noticed having the procedure. Right after I woke from surgery, i noticed and immediate difference, I never breathed so deep and so easily, it almost uncomfortable if I wasn't amazed. After the procedure everything was still very comfortable, minus occasionally bumping or hitting my nose. A few weeks later my breathing quality improved and after that it just got better. Now roughly 4 months later, I am tremendously happy with my results and my breathing. I no longer fall asleep during the day nor am I having trouble falling or staying asleep.
