An Amazing Experience from Start to Finish, Vanity Clinic Istanbul
From the very first time I started messaging the Vanity Clinic team on WhatsApp in March 2026, I knew I had made the right decision. I traveled from Houston, Texas, to Istanbul for my breast lift/reduction, and every step of the journey was handled with so much care, communication, and professionalism.
From my arrival in Istanbul, my transportation, hospital experience, hotel care, surgery, and post-operative follow-up, I never felt like I was alone or unsure of what was happening. The coordinators were always available, answered my questions, and made the entire process incredibly smooth.
On surgery day, I was picked up early, completed my bloodwork, had another consultation with Dr. Mert, and was taken into surgery that morning. When I woke up, I was understandably nervous, cold, and shaking, but the hospital staff took care of me and continued monitoring me throughout the day. They made sure I was able to eat, walk, and rest before being discharged the following morning.
Once I returned to the hotel, the care didn’t stop. The nurse came to check my bandages and bra, and I had continued access to the care team whenever I needed them. During those first few days, I was able to contact the on-call nurse whenever I had questions or simply needed reassurance. She checked my incisions and bandages and always made me feel comfortable and confident that I was healing properly.
Even while sightseeing around Istanbul, I felt supported. I was able to enjoy the city while taking things carefully and listening to my body.
At my post-op appointment with Dr. Mert, he and his assistant removed my bandages, sterilized the area, took my after photos, replaced my strips, and went over my aftercare in detail. I was reminded that I would have access to the team 24/7 and could message Gozel with any questions or concerns.
Now, two weeks post-op, I am absolutely LOVING my results. I am no longer in pain; I am mostly just sensitive to anything brushing against my chest, which is completely different from those first few days. I know my healing journey has only just begun, and I am so excited to see my final results as everything continues to settle.
I cannot say enough good things about Vanity Clinic, Dr. Mert, the nurses, coordinators, assistants, and the entire care team. They truly went above and beyond, not only for me, but also for the guest who traveled with me. They made both of us feel welcomed, cared for, and supported throughout the entire experience.
Traveling overseas for surgery can be intimidating, especially when you’re leaving the comfort of home and traveling to another country. But Vanity Clinic made me feel like I had a team looking after me every step of the way.
