I asked Dr. Dickie to make me a B, and I got a large C. I still have to buy large shirts when I wear button downs because my breasts are still large and they cause a gap between the buttons. Very frustrating. I was told I could go thru the trauma of another surgery to correct it- for $4000. I am really disappointed that I made a reasonable request and went thru major surgery only to end up not that far from where I started.

Dear oandlomom, thank you for sharing your feedback. While I strive to meet the goals of surgery with every patient, there are times that anatomy and pre-existing conditions can make that a challenge and the outcomes are not the ideal. In such, I apologize that I did not appropriately set or meet your expectations in this case. It is a very important reminder for all patients seeking a breast reduction that cup size cannot be guaranteed when preforming breast reduction. As well, the fees associated with any surgery are not the surgeon's fees alone, but those of the facility, anesthesia and staff resources. I'm surprised that after all the times I met with you you didn't notice that my anatomy wouldn't work with why I asked for. It's not like the first time you saw me was on operating table. And I really don't know what you mean by pre-existing conditions. You certainly ever said what I was asking for was unrealistic. There's a difference between not guaranteeing a cup size and being a size and a half off. As to the fees, I understand the breakdown. I'll rephrase, I was offered the chance to pay $2000 to Dr. Dickie and $2000 to the other providers to go thru the trauma of another surgery to get what I asked for the first time.
