My breast reduction by Dr. Winnie Tong, Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco

My surgery is tomorrow morning and I cannot believe it. I’ve wanted this my whole life but was either too broke or too scared to make it happen. I finally did though. I waited almost a year for this day but it’s here and my insurance is paying for it. The first pic is my regular boobs. I’m a 36DD and I’m hoping to be a B cup when it’s all over. The 2nd is with the docs markings done today. The peak is where my nipple should be.

Woke up in recovery with a sore throat and burning sensation in boobs. Doc said I’ll settle at a full B or small C cup. Yay! Profile looks great. Too tired to take pics. I’ll upload tomorrow.

Forgot to add - no drains and my doc didn’t have to remove the nipple so I’ll keep sensation. One weird thing when I woke up in recovery; I felt super [RS bleep]. Nurse said it was the drugs.
