Before and now photos. Wish I’d started vitamin e oil the first time. It’s amazing! Start it as soon as you heal and use morning and night (or as often as possible)

One year and almost 3 weeks later (after revision)
These pics are for Kismic. Background: I had a revision a year later to raise my nipples. Moving nipples often requires drains and since I was by myself the first time, I chose not to get drains. My boobs were great after the first reduction but my nipples were still low. I under went a revision a couple of weeks ago to raise them. These are the pics. The surgical tape is old and worn. It will be removed when I see the doc on October 31.

Oh, I'm slumped to the side to take the pic so that's why one looks lower than the other. The boobs are symmetrical and wonderful -:)

Revision one year later
So I decided to get a breast reduction revision to lift my nipples up. The surgery was September 28 so I’m about two weeks post. Healing was much easier than after the initial breast reduction. I had it done on a Thursday and was back at work on Monday though that’s not recommended. I stopped using the pain meds by post opp day two. I’ve not gone back to the gym but honestly, I’ve not gone in a couple of months. Still, I am sooooo happy with the results of the revision. I was so happy with my initial reduction that I go bra less most days but now I can go bra less with more confidence. My hope is to get a tummy tuck in December because menopause is doing terrible things to my abdominal wall. I will try to keep you all updated in another review. Oh, I also had the “dog ears” fixed.

You look wonderful after your surgeries! You must be so pleased!? May i ask how much was removed? I too am a DD wanting to be a small B. The only problem now is the waiting to hear from the surgeon's office as to a surgery date. In Canada we have VERY long wait times. I'm middle aged but i could be a senior by the time i hear from the doc! My family also are not very supportive which is sad for me because I really have no one to lean on or that understands this type of procedure. Not all the ladies in my family are large so they can't relate and are acting like I'm being frivolous or petty. Some of them feel the surgery is unnecessary but they don't have to live with the degrading comments, stares, uncomfortable physical problems, etc.
So glad for you everything has been so positive--take care!
Thank you Kosmic! I waited a year for mine in San Francisco. I was impatient too but in hindsight I'm glad because it gave me time to really think about it. Like you I had no support from family and no one to help me when I came home. I didn't have drains so it was easier. But the decision to not move my nipples the firs time (and this have no drains) is the reason I just had the revision. I could jump up and down writing this and every time I see and touch my breasts. It's really one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. You will be fine. Your family will come around and if they don't, oh well. You will be happier, your clothes will fit better, and you can say goodbye to always having to wear a bra.
I'm a beautiful c-cup now or maybe large b. I never asked how much they took out but I see my doc at the end of the month so I'll ask then. Because my surgery was paid by insurance I could only ask to be a b or c after but there are insurance guidelines. Still, it's perfect! Now once I get this tummy tuck in December I'll really be running around naked all the time :-)
Oh I forgot to add - let the women on here be your support system. They were so helpful to me and always supportive. Plus reading their stories and seeing pics really helped. Most will answer every question and even check on you after so continue to engage with us. And take lots of pics before and after. It helps. I can't believe how large my breasts were before and those pics are a reminder to step out on faith, be brave and claim my joy without hesitation next time.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!! :) Your support and the support of the other ladies will come in so handy! Nice to know someone cares and understands! Yes, my faith will hopefully bring me through! Your kind words mean a lot and I pray you and the other ladies heal well and continue to enjoy their new "boob-free" lives! I also pray that your revision surgery continues to benefit you and that your nipples and such heal well and without trouble. I am looking forward to having more physical freedom and comfort--minus the family support unfortunately. But like you say, this site is very supportive and caring!! So wonderful we can all lift up each other here! Thanks again and I am so glad your on the right track and may the Lord continue to be by your side and keep you healthy and happy through your "booby journey"! :)
Blessings and hugs!
Just took some photos just for you. Posting them right after I send this message. Compare them to my before pics. Jeez! I'll have the tape on until I see my doc on the 31st. but STILL!!! Message me any time you need. I'm having no healing issues. No pain. No worries. You'll be good too.
And you will be fine. Canada has wonderful docs. This surgery is not new. You will look great and feel great (not the first day post but certainly after). So, so, so many blessings to you!
