My breast reduction journey - 12F - Perth Australia - 27 y.o.
ORIGINAL POST
The start of my journey - 12F - Perth Australia
WORTH IT$9,000
I'm 27 years old and have had massive boobs for what feels like forever. I got all the unwanted attention throughout school and found myself unable to embrace my breasts. As time went on, pain became a daily issue. My lower back has a constant dull ache and I find myself unable to sit or stand for long periods of time.
I am seeking a reduction for medical reasons so I am able to run, be active and do gymnastics again.
My first consultation is in 2 weeks!

Leading up to my first consult
I have approached doctors in the past to see if I can get referred to a PS but never really took the plunge.
This year I am finishing my degree and will start a new chapter of my life as a graduate. I feel the time has come to revolutionise myself and that includes sorting out this medical issue!
I am getting married in 1.5 years and do not want to have to sit down after simply walking down the aisle. (Due to back and neck pain)
I also enjoy doing gymnastics, but I'm fairly limited in what skills I can do due to the size of my chest.
My first consultation is in two weeks with Dr. Mark Lee. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks Wendy. I'm getting impatient now - want to get it done like, tomorrow.

Getting impatient
I haven't even had my consult yet and I'm so ready to have small boobs!
I took some more photos today. I took some with me holding my boobs up and it makes me look so much slimmer.
Only two more weeks to go until my first consult (it was meant to be this week but it got pushed back)

Ive found that most people do look much slimmer after the reduction. Ive always taken issue with my weight even though I have never been overweight, but now that I am post op and a B to C cup I'm realizing that my issue was more so with my large boobs making me appear larger than I actually was. This surgery is just so wonderful in so many different ways :) it boosts your confidence, gets rid of dreaded neck and back pain, as well as unwanted attention...it allows us to fit into bras and bikinis and button ups shirts...and the list goes on.

I can't wait. I enjoy running but find I can't do much before my back and neck start to ache.
So many benefits to look forward to!! I keep having dreams about my new boobs, from the surgery to being able to buy what ever clothes I want!!
So impatient now hahaha

The first time my daughter saw me after my reduction, she said that I looked 20 pounds lighter. You'll be thrilled!

Me too! All of my friends have said the same thing. “You look like you’ve lost 20 pounds” According to my PS it was only about 2.5 but I’ll take it. :-)
