Smooth Recovery

I had my breast reduction yesterday, October 14th, 2025, and I’m honestly in shock at how good I feel. I’ve been taking my meds as prescribed and using a mastectomy pillow to move around, but when I say I feel good, I really mean it. I woke up this morning, made breakfast, and even got my kids ready with minimal help. I’m so surprised at how smooth recovery has been so far.

Dr. Taub and his staff were amazing! I also don’t have any drainage bags, and I’m extremely thankful and grateful for that. The only hiccup was getting my medication, since my surgery finished late, the pharmacy had already closed and the second pharmacy had ran out of Oxycodone. I definitely would’ve preferred to have my meds beforehand or earlier in the day. Other than that, I couldn’t be happier with how well things are going!
