Breast reduction regret

I had my breast reduction 3 weeks 3days ago .
The surgeon took 800g from the left and 600g from the left.
He said that I was going to be a c/d cup.
The thing I think he went too small. I know they re still swollen now so Im still going to loose size.
The surgical bra I am wearing now is 36C but too tight I think...
I cant believe I'm saying this since I've always wamted to have small breast my whole life (I was a 38H). But now, I dont feel attractive at all...

We are about three days apart recovery wise. I went from an H/I cup to a really small size, and while it’s what I’ve always wanted I’m still adjusting to the drastic change. Thinking about B/C cup was one thing but actually going 6 cups sizes smaller is a bigger deal than I expected. They are so much smaller. I find I am noticing clothes ads more (never really did before) and seeing that clothes is aimed at this size, it’s going to be interesting to figure out bra size and clothing style for sure. Am nervous about seeing people and a little self conscious.

Exactly! I am not just used to it. I remember I even told my surgeon during the first consultation:" get rid of all of this! I want a A" without realizing what I was really asking for.

Hahahahaha yes! Exactly! I didn’t really grasp how extreme the change would be. I am getting used to it more as time goes on

We are about a week apart and I also went from an H cup to a D cup and I totally understand the sense of regret but give yourself time. You've lived with the bigger version most of your life and they were a huge (no pun intended) of your identity. It's also hard to see some of the positives when you are still healing and limited in what you can do. Please go easy on yourself. You look amazing!

You really do look amazing. I kinda felt that I was a little small when I first had my breast reduction but when they soften and fall over the incision lines you will love them. They just look that way right now. I also found out that your stomach has a tendency to swell after this procedure and by the time you add the pain meds and the constipation to the mixture, that also makes your breast look small. I promise you will love them.

They look great, I’d be thrilled if I were you! I think it’s just shock. I’m currently 38hh and believe me, your size is so much better. I think you need time for your brain to adjust to the change. Honestly they look great, still really feminine x

It's definitely shock! After I had mine done I felt extremely flat chested, lol! Then after a few months, everything finally dropped. I believe you have like 2 or 3 layers of stitches holding things together. There's stitches beneath the skin on the inside that eventually melt after some time. Now, I am starting to feel like they're big again (even though they aren't). My reduction will be a year old in November and I'm a 38C. I feel bigger though, lol!

I went bra shopping yesterday and got some bras( no underwire).
I never thought in my life that one day I would enjoy bras shopping.
Most of the swelling are gone and I am now a 36 D.
Boobs are still “squary” but Im starting to love them and stop regretting and complaining.

Btw I did my surgery in South Africa. I live in Canada but on holiday here. My doctor s name is Dr Dirk Maree in pretoria. Booked a consultation with him on a Thursday and got the surgery done the next Saturday. I stayed at the hospital 1 night and was very taken care of. They gave me a compression socks that I had to wear for 2 weeks and in the morning they sent a physiotherapist who showed me some exercises to do at home etc... in total ( surgery and hospital)I paid 4,900 CAD. Doctors in Canada told me that I needed a liposuction with the BR( additional 6kCAD) but Dr Dirk told me that I didnt need that since I have no underarms fat. I even asked him if I needed to buy an additional surgical bras from him but he said thats just a waste of money and that I just have to wash the only one he gave me. All thay to say that he wasnt into my money at all!! Very meticulous and caring surgeon.

When I first saw my breasts after surgery, I kept thinking they were to small. Now 6+ months out, I love them. Not sure why I thought they were small, I'm a 36D.
