Such a Great Experience I Can’t Even Imagine Going Anywhere else for Any Other Future Cosmetic Procedures
I am 4 weeks post op from a breast reduction performed by Dr. Cornjeo and I am so satisfied with my results!! I did so much extensive research trying to decide which surgeon I trusted enough and I don’t think I could’ve picked anyone better. I don’t know about y’all but I ask a bunch of questions and was worried he’d get annoyed or snappy with me like other surgeons I had consultations with(or literally anybody else in the medical field). He let me ask as many questions as I liked, told me about the different incision types, showed me his amazing before and afters, and wasn’t one of those surgeons that tried to convince me that I should still stay a few sizes bigger. I was mostly concerned about the incision type since I had seen a bunch of different results depending on the incision type. He told me he was going to use the anchor incision on me and then proceeded to explain WHY he was going to use that incision which I never experienced with any of the other plastic surgeons I had consultations with. Another thing I will definitely have to mention is that I’m SOOOOO glad I don’t have weird looking nipples!!! As great as it is to look at r/reduction on Reddit, you definitely start to get scared of how your results or recovery will come out. My nipples are perfectly round, not oval, not two different sizes or heights, they’re PERFECT!!! I have an allergy to most medical adhesive so I was worried about that at first but he didn’t even hesitate, he had an immediate response on how he would work around my allergy. He ended up using dissolvable stitches, and surgical glue for my incisions. And for my drains he secured them with tegaderm patches which I already had experience with since I’ve healed all of my tattoos with it already. My thanks doesn’t only go to Dr. Cornejo, though. My patient coordinator was Carina and she helped me feel so welcome and comfortable when I was literally puking my guts out from anxiety an hour before my first consultation! I don’t think I’ve ever met someone in this type of field that made me feel as comfortable as Carina did. I can proudly say without any doubts that I felt like my safety, health, and recovery was in good hands by just the first day I met her, that says a lot coming from someone with very bad social anxiety. On top of all that, she explained everything to me and even things I thought I would have to ask about! I had a whole list of things I wanted to ask because I was so devastated of not communicating properly but she went through everything so well that in the end I only had maybe 3 questions I wanted to ask: and believe it or not… I put down my downpayment IMMEDIATELY. Literally on the first consultation where I spoke to her for the first time. Of course the surgeon you pick 100% matters, but I believe that the doctors patient coordinator is the one that explains the most and handles most of the consultation process. There was a time where she was running late, which was no biggie, I felt so safe with the hospitality she gave me that all the time in the world wouldn’t have made me regret my decision. She offered to give me a discounted facial as an apology, what an Angel! I wish I was guaranteed someone as sweet and caring as Carina when I would go to doctors visits, now my standards are gonna be so high lol. Good luck to any of my future doctors and nurses, can’t compete with Carina and Cornejo!!! (P.s. definitely get the vitamins, supplements, and protein kit that they offer you if you bruise like a banana and usually heal like crap. I’ve seen many 1 day post op pictures where the bruising is so bad that they look like they got hit by a truck. That should’ve been me but i thanks to how much the care package put me in tip top shape, I had practically no bruising at all. Any of my girlies with Gastroparesis, I was given a pretty good nausea suppressant so just know that you’re in good hands here)
