If I could give Dr. Holt 100 stars I would. There are all kinds of great doctors out there but she is one of a kind. She isn't a doctor, she is a friend. She feels your feelings and celebrates your achievements. She wants more than just to take 10 lbs off of you, she wants you to gain self esteem and glows when you glow from all you gain! She has the best staff who treat you like family and make coming to the office feel like coming to an old friends house. But there are plenty of doctors you can pick for any surgery. I chose Dr. Holt because from the first meeting she cared about my story. Growing up my I knew there was one thing I needed when I was older, I needed to have a smaller bust. I started wearing a bra in 3rd grade and by my freshman year I was a DD. From 6th grade on I wanted a breast reduction. I talked to my primary doctor who told me I was too young. I talked to my gynecologist who told me I would want to breast feed. I talked to my chiropractor who told me that stretching and exercises would help with the constant back ache, headaches, leg pains (yes, even leg pain from being large chested). I went back to my primary and gynecologist to deal with the rashes and they told me to buy better bras (at $60-100 a pop). After 2 children I was an H cup. I hid under clothing way too big. I had almost daily headaches and back aches. I was exhausted from just getting up every day. I avoided doing things with my kids because there weren 't swim suits that fit and the extra large clothes made me feel uncomfortable and wearing the right size was out of the question. I had tried for a breast reduction after my second child was born and was denied 2 times with 2 different doctors. I went into my consult with Dr. Holt ready for another denial but she listened to my story, asked questions the other doctors didn't and really understood what I wanted and needed. That made all the difference in the world in getting the surgery approved. The day that Bri, from her office, called me to let me know it was approved I cried because they were so invested in me as a person to jump through the insurance hoops to get it approved. Surgery was amazing, recovery was what you would expect and Dr. Holt and her staff were there every step of the way no matter what time of day. A year later I tell anyone who wants to know about my surgery where to go and who to see. I am a different person. I bought a bikini! I wear clothes that fit so well people swear that I have lost a lot of weight. But most importantly, the pain is gone. I walk with my head up and feel amazing. I haven't seen Dr. Holt or her staff in almost 8 months and when I walked in for my yearly follow up I got hugs. I can't say enough about the procedure or Dr. Holt and her staff. If you ever question whether you need it or should do it, the answer is a resounding yes!
