Forever grateful - this is a dream come true for me

WORTH IT
I was told that surgery would last two to three hours but that I was actually under for five hours. Now I was under the influence of a lot of drugs so I’m not sure how accurate those statements are but I will say this: I think Haramis is a perfectionist and I have the utmost respect for him. I’ve never had perky breasts in my life, not even as a teenager. When I got home and changed my dressings I was speechless when I saw my reflection in the mirror. This is a dream come true for me and I’ll be forever grateful to doc and his team. Now I just pray I continue to heal well and look forward to seeing the final results when the swelling subsides. I have my follow-up appointment with him this Friday. I’ll post new pics in the coming weeks. I highly recommend him. At least do the consultation. You have nothing to lose.

Hi, how are you doing? Did you not have any drains after breast reduction surgery? Where is all that blood coming from in picture number 2?

No drains. The blood was just after surgery but it stopped soon after the picture was taken!

I’m healing well. I chose to stop taking the Percocet so I do have pain. I switched to prescription ibuprofen but you can always stick with Percocet if pain is your concern. I just don’t like dealing with the constipation of opiates. Hope that helps!

Two weeks after surgery

I’ve been taking the arnica tablets and they have really helped with the bruising. I had a hell of a time getting off of Percocet. Glad the constipation, diarrhea, anxiety and depression from those pills is over. Still a lot of swelling and a small opening under the left breast which doc assured me will heal within a few weeks. Looking forward to finding out what my new cup size is going to be. I don’t mind the sports bra but the foam pads are annoying. Still have some mild pain so I’ve been taking ibuprofen here and there.

Bruising is almost completely gone and Haramis said I can switch to a regular bra now but the lady who measured my cup size suggested I wait for the swelling to go down. So I plan to get measured again after the lymphatic drainage massages before I make a purchase. I am currently at a D cup but she felt I just might reach a C cup. (I’m really hoping for a C cup! Fingers crossed!)
