Had a consultation and it was horrible - she body shammed me

ORIGINAL POST

A Female Dr Should Not Body Shame Another Woman!

I had a consultation and it was horrible. She body shammed me... I wanted a breast reduction/lift and a possible BBL. I explained that I did not want a tummy tuck at all when I made the appointment. When I undressed she just said "your breasts are not even big" in a very nasty way. Then said "I would never considered you for a BBL UNLESS we did a tummy tuck and I would cut you ALL THE WAY AROUND YOUR BODY"... Wait. I am within the correct BMI for my height and 36F. You are going to body shame me? I am already uncomfortable with my body/uncomfortable showing it to strangers. Then the quote came.... It was $18,000 for a reduction ONLY?? When she said I was not even big?. I finally went to leave and the person checking me out tried to get me to pay them money???? Their office forces you to pay before arriving for a consultation. Why would this person try to make me pay more money. As a woman you would think she would be caring, considerate but not to body shame another woman. WARNING TO OTHER PEOPLE! Please have respect for yourself!
